    Awesome video. Love all the information and seeing the progress of your ranchu. Seems like you take great care of your goldfish. Do you think the growth conditions affect the quality of your fish? I know that they ensure faster growth and greater survival rates, but does it produce higher quality goldfish?

      Hmm I’m not really sure , some people say it does and some people say it doesn’t but for me I like their quality but the only thing that I noticed is their color are not that great if they grow too fast

    I can conclude one thing to keep gold fish healthy is to put nothing but water to the tank. My gold fish sick occasionally due to algae and bacteria beneath the substrate.
    You feed them with chicken egg really boosted them growth in four months. Three to four inches my goodness. Imagine only pellets would take years to grow up to that size.

      Eddie Tann I only feed them steamed eggs every other day every morning, their main food are pellets and bloodworms

    how deep should the water level be for a 9 weeks old ranchu? I keep my 9 week old ranchu in a 5 gallon tank with 8 inches deep of water

      They grow fast so at least 2 in a 20 gallon after 12 weeks would be good but they need 10 gallons per fish

    Nice vid. My goldfish is around 1.5inch and LFS says they're 3-4months old. I don't really know the real age of my goldfish. Also, I'm planning to give them steamed eggs tomorrow!

      They are not feeder fish, this kind of goldfish are around $20-$100 each but if you have money to spend you can but somewhere els lol
