Yong Hwa was in many episodes of Running Man in the early days. Check out ep 7, 11, 17, 35-36, 72-73, 104, 127, 129, 186, 242. In addition, he was on We Got Married & Island Trios. His latest dramas are Brain Works, Sell Your Haunted House and The Package. He and CNBLUE has a large discography in Korean and Japanese, so do check them out. The best way to enjoy his and the band's music is through their live performances, because you will be able to see how charismatic a frontman he is and the energy level is through the roof.

Yonghwa! Such a good fellow and an amazing musician. I watched him on "We got married", "You're beautiful" and know most of his early songs. CNBLUE was a banger at the time. I am happy that he is still performing and have all those big dreams. Thanks to Yoongi I got to see Yonghwa again))
I watch this video because of JYH... CNBLUE is my ultimate and JYH is my first love since 2010.. I've watched all CNBLUE concerts in my home country and JYH has soooooo muuuuuchhhhh energy and they really rock. So thankful to Yoongi for this and like reminiscing everything. My 2 faves in one nice show. Thank you for this reaction..

Yonghwa is a workaholic and even during his military service released new song with MV every 3 months ... when he was discharged in November 2019 immediately with those releases wrapped up an album as Japanese comeback (more English songs) and started a world tour which had been stopped due to Covid19 after 5 concerts ... he, after discharging, also entered the musical variety show KTrot In The Town as the MC and performer ... where six of the legendary seniors of Korean Trot gathered to promote Trot music for international audiences... they started the show at Vietnam... that was a memorable trip for Yonghwa... there he performed in a café one of the most famous OSTs of his musical drama Heartstrings... the song that he produced himself in 2011 ... and Vietnamese could sing along those Korean lyrics, which is crazy... the again after 9 years ... in 2020, this old song had an all kill and got no.1 in all charts ... made all the new music platforms to request for new recording... so he recorded some new performances and released on Dingo, FNC official, and some other K-pop CZcams channels. Then after Covid19 the show changed it's flow and he performed and collaborated with his Trot seniors every episode... this show is amazing and was the no.1 in variety show popularity charts... it really worth watching.
He played a comeo on P1Harmony debut movie after military in 2019 which named P1H: Into The New World, During the Covid19 he focused more on acting and had couple of drama ... the awards winner and praised by critics worldwide series, Sell Your Haunted House broadcast in 2020 from KBS2, after 2 years as its 4th award, winning 3 major awards of Boston film festivals made Netflix to take the broadcast rights from KBS2 in 2022... even yesterday, Japan started its broadcast... it's an amazing series and has lots of potential for more seasons... I really recommend you guys to watch it... the next series is a Disney+ production in 2022 , and we're still waiting for its release announcement... the name probably is You, Out Of Blue ... the last but not the least drama that shot and broadcasted in early 2023 is Brain Works ... adopted from the real story of a famous neuroscientist Prof. James Fallon ... it's a great series ... with a new concept in the world of Kdrama...

In 2021 and 2022, cnblue had two Korean albums and comebacks... Re:Code and Love Cut...
But the last korean release of Yonghwa himself was before his military service in 2017 Do Disturb... so yeah, he had a Korean comeback after 6 years with Your City, but he worked the whole gap nonestop ... even 2023 he had 4 world tours, two with CNBLUE as Zepp and Pleasure and two solo tours, All Rouder and Your City ...
As Yongi said, he's sensitive to releasing albums and music but really loves holding concerts and live performances.
As you said their live performances as a rock band is so exciting...
CNBLUE was the first Korean act that holds a world tour in 5 continents. There's even a documentary about their world tour... it's interesting that the first Korean director who managed that huge world tour for CNBLUE Blue Moon tour Kevin Kim, had been chosen for directing BTS world tour in 2019 Love Yourself ...
they somehow were the ambassador of Korean music at the second generation. But at their peak in 2018 ... then members went to military... first Yonghwa and six months later the other members and when they all were in military service, one of their members involved in a scandal and left the group... so repositioning the group to filling the position of main guitarist... as their main guitarist was one of the best and most accurate guitar players out there, he was also an amazing songwriter and vocalist... so they couldn't find someone for his position and it took a year for them to have their first comeback after military...
So as a group they had a really hard time ... but now they're about to having their next Korean comeback in 2024.
Other members are also active as actors...
You for sure know them if you watch The Heirs or Celebrity... the drummer of CNBLUE Kang Min Hyuk played in them ... he has two movies and a lot of drama from 2010 till now...
The other member is Lee Jung Shin of Cinderella and Four Knights and Shooting Stars ... he also have many dramas ...
I hope they back to their flowery road in music and we see more comebacks from them in the future.
I don't want to make it longer ... but there are many variety shows that CNBLUE participated as host or guest... Running Man, Infinity Challenge, Invincible Youth, We Got Married, ...

I highly recommend CNBLUE! They are amazing. I know many people are learning about them now but if there was ever a 'it boy', I believe is the term, Yonghwa was definitely one of them back in the day. That man never had a break, he was always busy. Yonghwa is without a doubt one of the most talented performers and artists I have ever seen in kpop and in my opinion he doesn't get enough credit (like a lot of bands!) He is so charismatic and knows how to command the stage. Incredibly versatile and stable vocalist too. Their live performances are top notch!

Yonghwa is so insanely musically talented that it is ridiculous. He was meant to be a musician (even if his mom didn't believe him 😂). One thing I'd like to clarify is that it has been 7 years since their last Korean concert. After their military hiatus they have done concerts in Japan. CNBlue is very popular in Japan. Rock is much more popular in Japan so a lot of the Korean groups (including CNBlue's labelmates: FTIsland (kind of the first idol band) and N.Flying spend a lot of time in Japan and promote there heavily. While their Korean releases tend to be more ballad-style to appeal to the Korean audiences. I don't think anyone knew they were close friends until recently but I also loved that because it shows that it was a true friendship and not made out of popularity. Also, they have a lot in common so I guess we shouldn't be so surprised!

Yonghwa's the best sunbaenim (senior) be it to man, women, kids, old people etc. He's good with everyone. Yonghwa's so much fun to be with. He's hilarious too. Trust me.😂

His personality is something that we are driving into him. Along with the talent and everything. Like he's a fine good looking man tho. Although it's just a bonus but it does make everything about him almost perfect. 💞

Jang Yi Jeong aka El Capitxn is the producer friend of Yoongi, he also produced some of BTS' and other group's songs. He was the DJ at Yoongi's Seoul Concerts, he did the famous Shibal remix.

@pazfan999 lmao what are you on. They are the same person. Jang Yijeong is his real name and el captxn is his stage/producing name. He used to be in a boy group HISTORY (had a duet with IU in her song, Friday) and is now a producer.

Yijeong aka Elcapitxn wrote and produced alot of songs for kpop idols, besides Suga, BTS, he also wrote and produced for Psy, IU, TXT and NCT to name a few. He was in a band called HISTORY and was in the same company as IU. Suga was also the one to encourge him to start a production team. I have a feeling he will be a guest on Suchwita soon

Yonghwa's latest MC gig was Street Women Fighter 2 : Worldwide Log (2023). He also appeared in Amazing Saturday with Lee Hong Gi and Sandara Park while for music, he appeared on Lee Mujin service last year when he was promoting his solo album Your City. There are a lot of variety shows he's on but the one that i love are his Running Man episodes. He's an ace.
