- Our Reaction to Welcome to the Internet:
• he's a genius. | BO BU...
This is our second and sadly last reaction to the new Bo Burnham special! We watched the rest straight through after this, but this song was.... something else. It definitely got to me. Inside should win an Oscar... it's obviously much more than just a comedy special. Also, sorry for blurring the video, it was the only way I could seem to find to not have it blocked by Netflix.

It’s actually not auto tuned. He pitched his voice down a whole step so it sounds deeper and added a butt ton of reverb. His singing is authentic though and it makes it so much better. Thanks for reacting!
He sings this right after he breaks down, which was also when I lost it. After the special ended I sat for 20 minutes in silence contemplating what I just saw, then immediately watched it again. It's been 5 weeks and I still can't shake it.
It hits even harder in context with the rest of the special.
I legitimately started crying at "Got it? Good, now get inside." the first time I watched the special.
…seriously…you should watch the special. He is addressing his own mental issues but also shines light on ours. I went through many ups and downs while watching it and after watching it. I feel like I’ve evolved to a point where this song is him reaching out and taking me out of my own depression. 💕🙌🏻🥺
The fact that y'all started this video all happy and laughing and half way your faces got a bit serious means you know exactly what he meant...it hurts
Ever since Bo's special came out, I've been obsessed, unhealthily obsessed. And there's really only 2 types of reactions for this song. Either the reactor is familiar with Bo's work and the left turn into madness turns everyone's smiles into frowns, OR the reactor has no idea what they're getting themselves into and are wondering how in the fuck this shit was supposed to be funny. They were expecting Bo Burnham comedian/musician, and they got Bo Burnham depressedly introspective banger.
I barely slept the night after that special and could barely get it out of my head for a week. To say it hit like a truck feels like an understatement.
Not gonna lie, I loved watching both of your moods shift through this. Like in the beginning you both seemed positive, laughing and happy, but then when it climaxes and drops hard you can watch the deeper, sadder realization of the meaning of the song.
You should react to his performance: Can’t Handle This (Kanye Rant). It’s the performance from 5 years back where he was experiencing the panic attacks. It’s pretty easy to see he was dealing with a lot of uncertainty.
beginning of the song: aha this is kinda funny
I love her reaction. She was smiling huge and to watch her smile slowly fade to sadness and empathy. She felt that slow down deep inside. It was beautiful to watch. Thanks bridge. We love bo and we love you guys
You can always tell when someone gets this song and went through something similar when they watch this! It’s hits hard.
Don’t overthink this” - when someone with general or social anxiety tries to explain what exactly they’re afraid is going to happen, they’re told “you’re overthinking things! Nothing bad is going to happen”
"Buddy it already did"
I noticed how their attitude changed as soon as he mentioned his panic attacks
I could tell the exact moment you “got it”. It’s hard not to get emotional when you have lived experience too. That moment is palpable.
It's great to see someone who really understands the human condition react to this.
context makes this infinitely better
I wanna hear your opinion on the whole show
