However... it's more on the simplistic side, so we will have to see how this stacks up!

This is the best thing that happened to me - you can see it in the dark. My screen time went down from 5 hours to 25 mins - I am much more mindful now.

I just wish that these minimalist phones would at least have some chat apps like Messenger, Line and Whatsapp....because these days - who makes phone calls?

I honestly thought this was a new model (without the front light), as the phone came out couple of years ago. Just imagine my face whe I realized this is the basic Light Phone II (with the light) and you guys are just drunk AF.

It's like a DEJA VU!!! I'm seeing iPhone Gen 1 but e-ink version hahaha, tho I would like to see at leas a design with metal frame, rectangular cut edges, to match the boxy idea of the device) and enlarged the screen to aprox 90% body-screen ratio.

Honestly I don’t know how people see 3 hours as a long time like I’ve had 7-12 hour screen times…. During my semester last year it would be up to 16 hours 😭💀

But Hisense doesn't offer coverage in the US, so in the US, theirs no point even caring about E ink phones

Countless units from about 5 or 6 manufacturers have tried and no one has succeeded or even come close.
They didn't do anything to us. We think it's a good concept, a well-built device, and solid execution

The Mississippi flows north to south. So, when you said "the biggest bezels South of the Mississippi"... yeah, that would make more sense if you said east of, or west of. 😁 But nobody except a detail obsessed American raised in the south would recognize this. Also, if your comment was mean ironically, sorry please ignore mine. 😅
