Unbelievable I am so excited to see she is still performing. I saw her in the 70's in the Venetian Room at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. I also found myself in the elevator with her before her dinner show. She was extremely nice to my uncle Ken, aunt Mittie & myself. That will always be one of my most memorable moments in my life. She will always be a favorite for everyone.
The talent in that family runs so deep. Between Dionne, Whitney Houston, her mom, Cissy Houston, who sang with Elvis Presley. You can’t get any better than that.
Don’t forget Leontyne Price, the opera singer, is also related to Dionne.
I love Dionne and Johnny Mathis, two of my favorite singers, also Celine Dion and Tony Bennett (RIP).

It's always so touching when families sing together. Very special.
I saw Dionne Warwick once, it was at Louisiana Downs Racetrack, in the early 80's. She was sitting at a table next to our party in the Jockey Club. She was there as a presenter for a special race, I don't remember the race, just Ms. Warwick. I was thrilled! I will never forget the excitement that day, you could feel it walking into the room! Could hardly believe my eyes! She was reserved and did nothing to draw attention, however she had the attention of everyone in the room! I have always been a big fan. One of those special memories to treasure.
