Flume got gigga delayed on his aus tour in like 2013 at dubbo, had to wait an hour for him to come out after technical glitches, felt bad for the dude. Comes out, plays, all legit, everyone screaming but like, something was missing.
If flume read this, he knows what happened. Everyone screamed encore and this played as we all left, words can't describe. Like the showgrounds were meant to cater for 10K or so, 30K rocked up and stood outside the grounds, the atmosphere was insane. Keep in mind this is a garbage regional town in NSW
Flume is one of my main sources for that pristine, mind-hollowing music. I just love his style of production.

This song and Odesza - Sun models was the beginning of my journey with edm and also the beginning of my journey in life. It inspired me to live on the edge and be free. I dropped everything (including money and my job and my place to live), packed a little bag, bought a bus ticket out of South carolina and hitch- hiked from there to San diego, California where I also hiked 400 miles of the pacific crest trail 👣, lived in an abandoned blue 1991 van on a hippie couples property in the San Diego desert Mountains, did a bunch of acid, met amazing people, smoked Hella weed, and when it was time to say goodbye I came back home with all the memories, the moments, the epiphanies, the emotions, the good, and the bad and I found myself- who I was. I left my ego behind when I traveled to California and I became an individual. I became somebody who mattered. Now I'm a mom with a beautiful Nigerian husband, and a beautiful mixed son and I have stories to tell and to inspire my son to live free of society pressure, to live deeper than the surface, and to live larger than the "American Dream". Everytime I hear this song- I go to that place in my mind where I was walking- blisters on my feet, back hurting, dreadfully hot and dry weather- with my head phones in listening to this song and looking out at the blue skies, the desert mountains, and the seas of clouds I woke up to 15,000 ft up above tree line on my way to liberation and true happiness. I hope this inspires you too ❤
