"All-star" Giorgiev is medium-talent at best. Not the answer for the Avs if they expect playoff success.
If the Avs can hold other teams to fewer than 10 shots there's a good chance they will need to score only 4 (or fewer!) goals for a tie.

Amazing to me how that blatant hooking on Makar didnt get called resulting in injury. The refs picked and chose calls all night going both ways but overall bad officiating. No effort from the offense in the O zone, and minimal effort from the defense as well. Coach Beds better do something or maybe we shoulf consider a new coach that can utilize his assets appropriately

That being said, he played well after the shaky start. The rest of the team just got outplayed and had no answer for the aggressive forecheck. Should have just lobbed pucks on net from the neutral zone and hope one goes in since they couldn’t get anything established on offense 😆

@@soulknife20dude they have given up defending because even when they do, he plays like ass. Colorado is well below league average for high danger chances allowed. His low danger and medium danger save percentages are well below what they are expected.

You probably need to research your information, Avs have played 3 road games in 4 nights, all against playoff teams. Another 3 consecutive road games before returning home. Hardly a cushion schedule.

This is one of the Avs unlucky streaks where everything just goes against them, even the goaltending. I’m fully confident the bounce back will be great.
But my god that arena is one of the most annoying ones, right up there next to Kraken arena. Every break was crappy music, every time the Canes did anything the 3 horn chant went off, and tones of drunk idiots booing. If I wanted that much crap in my ears I’d go to a Bieber concert.

Probably not anytime soon sadly. Panthers and Lightning are gonna dog walk this Avs team if they play the way they are right now. Least the Jets decided to go full on poverty mode with us, just gotta hope Dallas doesn't gain any hope or 1st in the division will be a long road task. Goaltending has to change immediately, Georgiev couldn't stop a beachball from going into that net, his all star performance was 100% luck
