Yuttham Sei was for me, the movie that heralded the coming of Tamil new wave cinema. Excellent movie. I started paying attention to Mysskin after this movie. Nandalala, Anthathey, Pisasu, Thupparivalan. He has not disappointed me yet. In fact, the reason I watched Thupparivalan despite my distaste for Vishal, was because Mysskin directed it.

One of the best. Mysskin's overflowing love for cinema with his child like curiosity is a great dose of inspiration dinning in the importance of learning. An interview that you may want to watch over and over again. There is so much to learn. Is a must watch. Mysskin seems to be almost enlightened to me. I have no disagreement with his technical prowess but I just wonder as to how a definite amount of violence seeps into his work. Also not sure about the darkness in his cinema that does not seem to have any place in the process that he applies to his learning. Despite these differences, I am in love with Mysskin and whatever he advocates in this interview. Thank you BR for bringing this being a perfect anchor, with the right questions.

I can't say how happy and excited I am after seeing this interview. After Anurag Kashyap this is the first man to influence me so much by his talks about Cinema. Man he knows so much. He is an icon. Long live sir and keep making great films and imparting such great knowledge to us. You are teaching an Independent Pakistani filmmaker a lot who has no great people on his side to look up to. I am. Indebted forever Mysskin sir.
Love respect and salutes from Sindh Pakistan.

Amazing interview... Missed his presence in the roundtable.... Maybe we can have Mysskin once in a quarter for a workshop and that time slot we gonna spend will be super productive... Am so amazed by his articulation and exposure to Books to Art to Cinema to Western Classical Music.... I had a huge smile watching this interview.... Well spent 45 mins on a New Year's Day!!! Am sure BR you would have had a great time chatting with him... Like more than equals for a conversation!!! Thank you!!

One of the greatest in the recent times. Bharadwaj rangan sir it's a great tour for the film students out there seeking for knowledge and navigations in CINEMA. Would love to watch more like these other than fancy interviews with celebrities. Even we can wait to watch something like these from great personalities.
