It's even worse when the teacher makes the "shortest" homework, a 68596748567546 page essay on how to breathe, optional. Then, we don't do it at all and they give us detention. They give it to the whole class when one kid forgets it.

I do cyber and instead they give us "half days" which have either the same amount of work or more, then they tell us to enjoy our break. On top of that the "half day" also (as the name suggests) only counts as half a day out of the 180 days.
I would literally change schools. Especially if it's all online anyway.
