I rode her in 2010 as MV Princess of the Earth.. we left Cebu at around 7:30pm and arrive at CDO as early as 4:00am

Makadumdum ko sauna around early 2005-2010 katong M/V Princess of the Earth, Nasipit - Jagna route. There used to be a (mini) playground sa taas, with slides and stuffs nga pwede ma tambayan.
If might memory serves me right the actual travel time from Cebu-CDO vice versa in the 80's of William Lines Inc. was 12 hrs and in the 90's it was improved by Trans Asia Shipping to 10-11 hrs only. With the birth of hightech engines the travel time of 10-11 hrs should have been maintained or it would have been reduced to 9-10 hrs only apan subo kaayo palandungon nga imbes na moubos after more than 4 decades nibalik na man hinuon sa 12 hrs ang travel time sa CDO-Cebu vice versa.

Seeing TA 10’s info counter and lobby surely reminded me of the first generation, smaller cruiser type Asia China’s lobby area. The AC of that section was really cold. That first gen Asia China serviced Cebu-Butuan-Cebu for more than a decade and was able to navigate the Agusan River and dock at the Trans-Asia wharf at Butuan City’s Ong Yiu district. If not, the vessels will dock at Masao port. It’s been more than four decades since TA stopped servicing the Cebu-Butuan route. During that era, TA had Asia China tag team with Asia Japan in serving Butuan.

Dati buhay pa ang C.A.Gothong yung barko nila OLOL Cgy-Ceb v.v. 8 hours lang DAILY ang byahe departure CGY 8pm & departure Cebu 8am same sa Ozc-Ceb vv via OLON daily except Thu & Sat..
And, SLI mv POTC Ozc-Ceb-Ozc once a week 7.5hrs lang, Dgt-Ozc-Dgt route at 4.5hrs lang din...
Their speed at 19-20 knots... Latest, Cokaliong ships except FIL.Mindanao and FIL. CDO their cruising ave. speed just 11knots, good for 12-13 hours travel from Northern Mindanao to Cebu...

Sir mark, nakasakay ko sa una kadtong princess of the earth pa siya 7pm departure sa cebu, actual time of arrival sa cdo 4:30am. That was 2013. Kung sa speed 15-16 knots tingali. Pareha sa sa Our lady of good voyage(cebu ferries) paspas then pag trans-asia 9 niya 6:30am ang actual arrival niya.
