It’s ok to be nice, but you’ve got to be realistic and honest about human nature. Yes most serial killers probably had terrible childhoods but that doesn’t mean they should get soft punishment. They always say we must learn from history, but we never do until the flames are burning our feet. There are reasons why certain cultures never mixed. Even Buddhist monks can point out that Islam is a problem and needs dealing with.
This is what happens when you just leave some areas and people behind just watching from the side.

I found it stunning that Sweden now leads Europe in gun violence. I would have never thought that! Obviously, gun violence is a problem here in the US too, but the policies there in Sweden sound like they need some re-evaluation. As do our immigration policies here. All Europe is having issues to one extent or another because one particular group of people.
In Sweden the gun homicides are still only a fraction of those in the USA. Still, for us it’s a huge increase from before and very much driven by the consequences of mass immigration.
Luckily, we have elected a new, right wing, government which is taking some very serious steps to combat the gang criminals: blocking mass immigration, deportations, stop and frisk zones, increased surveillance possibilities for police and stiffer sentences.

Sweden have a long history of immigration and its been fairly successful. The big exception are the Clan based immigrants of the muslim arab countries. The big influx in 2014-2015 meant immigrants coming that have no regard for life and thinks death is the real paradise. Life loving secular Swedes dont know how to handle this, yet. We still assume that people love life, rather than death. Thats why a lot of people support Hamas and think of them as victims and doesnt compare them to Isis which they should.

Denmark saw this coming 20 years ago and by 2015 the migration was far less than other countries , 169.0000 came to Sweden in 2015,
1 mio to Germany but only 19.000 to Denmark and since it's been low every year, that does not mean there aren't the same problem , just on a much smaller scale than Sweden, France, UK and Belgium ect.
It should be added that our new right wing government is taking some very sharp actions to counter the effects of mass immigration and crime:
- stopping immigration
- tougher sentences
- stop & frisk zones
- increased surveillance
- deportations
It should also be added that the support for the right wing is strongest among younger voters. Not the old (who vote for legacy social democrats.)

Migrants from the 3rd world will mostly remain 3 worlders. Why do you think the Turks that came in Germany in the 70s and 80s flood the football field with Turkish flags when it's a Germany vs Turkey match. They will never integrate. Most migrants won't at least. The best bet is to accept migrants with strict quotas and control their population to remain around 1-2% of the native population at best when it comes to culturally opposite migrants.

In France 52% of non citizens adults are on wellfare, the ones who work have their 5 children families and wives coming in , so they get wellfare too, free housing, free healthcare, for one low salary, you have to pay for 6 people, and almost aloways, their kids fail at school, so the ponzi scheme never stops, you get more ununployed people and you have more immigration to serve these ununmployed people. It's a net loss. it's absurd.

Some of these developed countries have skills shortages and yet they make immigration for skilled immigrants very difficult, even the bare minimums can be unattainable for most highly educated and highly skilled foreigners, yet their borders are fully open for illegal immigrants, who don't have to go through the long and tedious legal processes. For instance there are more than 2 million illegal immigrants going through the US borders, but going there legally is an uphill task. 2, Criminals that commit serious crime like sexual nature murder or drugs and came to Sweden have to have there citizen ship revoked and deported after serving there sentence.
3,longer prison sentence and aloud the police to bug criminals and there must be a witness protection like in the U.S for those that decide to work with the police but it must go hand in hand with rehabilitation chance to study while doing time and ones out there is a system to help the person back into society,

It's crazy that not just Sweden, but the whole EU is having this issue, yet Brussels appears to be slow to fix it.
Here in the US, however, immigration is the least controversial political topic: almost everyone agrees to increase immigration but that unauthorized migrants should leave. It's not a left or right issue, it's something everyone understands.
However, since Biden took office in 2021, he relaxed many of the Trump and Obama-era immigration policies that were allowing us to manage their arrivals in small numbers. Now, however, they are coming in from all over the world in massive numbers and flooding small towns along the borders. The federal government as well as the state of Texas have been bussing them to New York and Chicago, and they can't handle it either. This created a situation where they have thousands of people coming in who they have to take care of with taxpayer dollars because laws passed in the '90s forbid them from getting jobs for 6 months and the administration forbids them from deporting them forcefully, while NYC's courts require the government to provide free room and board to anyone who requests it for 30 days. With nothing else to do, some of them take a shot at the gig economy, and others join the people who were already here in criminal acts, as the US has easily the highest crime in the Western world.
Right now, everyone is mad at the immigrants for taking up space that we need, at the local governments for putting them there, and at Joe Biden for bringing them into the country in the first place.
But 65% of Americans are still pro-immigration anyway ❤
