Kidney failure isnt the end of your life bro. Mine failed when i was 32. At 33 complications with dialysis caused me to need a quadruple bypass. At 39 i have a new kidney, my BP IS GOOD, i got back in the gym and im in the best shape ive been in since teenage years
I'm glad you are doing good. But I believe it depends from country to country, so it's best to expect the worst outcome and live your life to the fullest
Thank you for sharing your journey. Kidney transplants are game changers. I realize, of course, that the anti-rejection medication is no day at the beach, but I don't know a transplant patient who regrets their decision.

Unless you’re a multi hundred millionaire. Nate has money but not money to skip in that line. If buying one was an option he would’ve done it by now.

I was born with kidney disease. The doctors told my parents that I would need to have a kidney transplant around the ages of 13-15. As sure as the sky is blue, my kidneys were done. I had a kidney transplant at the age of 14. Being so young and be sick I never thought about it. I still played sports, hang out with friends, and kept living my life. Probably because I didn’t know any other way. I say all that because I believe you can over come this Nate. I watch you play your career in the NBA with no fear with people that towered over you. You made a true statement for the little guys out there like myself. You will make a statement again by being fearless in this journey of your current health situation. I have no doubt that you will beat this. Just like you beat some of the big guys in the NBA. God speed brother and God bless.

I remember 2002 I was a junior and he was a senior … rival schools.. I didn’t know him like that, but I noticed this short guy high jumping something ridiculous like 6’8” or 6’10” at the WIAA state track and field championships. 1 blessed and God gifted being.

I already knew what it was when he walked up. I saw the fistula on his arm. I'm speaking from personal experience cuz I've been on dialysis for 9 years and received a 3rd kidney that already failed. It's not the end of the world. At least you're still above ground. Just take it one day at a time. God is good all the time and all the time God is good! 🙏🏿

@@Seli6358 Let's not ask someone who is dealing with this how we can avoid it. Just be grateful that it's not something you have to deal with and pray for and support those who did have it. It's not something brought on by behavior. Most severe stuff like this just happens and then you deal w/ it.
@@Seli6358 there’s so many different ways to end up on dialysis that you can’t narrow it down to one specific thing. Mine is hereditary and totally unavoidable. The only thing that you can do once you are on is to never miss your treatments and to follow the proper diet procedures. Receiving a kidney may or may not work to prolong your life. Once again there are a lot of factors that come into play there as well. Hope this helps and thank you for your prayers. God bless.
