Thanks! - the two positive terminals confused me when I went to do this - didn't realise they were connected. I'm now ready to change the battery after the motorhome converters hardwired the fridge to the starter battery and killed it😵💫

Thank you for your video. I did my battery replaced today finally. Still don't understand why Sprinter located the battery at driver seat. There are a lot room under the hood.
Hello can you tell me the use of putting the key in that holder at the bottom of the dash please ?
@@benrowe681 after the changing the battery vehicle won’t start because it needs to read the key fob that’s why you put there

it was really hot in the van, must ve been like 130F I was sweating badly( I couldn't even roll the windows down, battery was complexity dead lol)
my 2019 sprinter 3500 has a 10.5" lonng mercedes battery. when i bought the new agm the size was13" for a 49size. Edmonds battery in Vancouver. I had to eliminate the plastic bracket at the end, holding it in place. I havent found a video showing removal of origiam mercedes battery, sadly

There are two battery capacities for the Sprinter: 70 Ah and 90 Ah which are the two sizes you mentioned. Both are OEM sizes, I think 90 Ah is an option. I just replaced my old 70 Ah with a 90Ah which is longer. The shorter 70Ah has a wider plastic bracket/spacer (about 4 inches long) at the front of the battery. You'll need to find the shorter bracket you see in this video (about 1 inch long) when using the 90 Ah battery.
