I have a version of these and last year used them on some thin areas and they filled in quickly. I only wear one at a time because it can be difficult to walk with 2 of them. It takes a little longer but yiu won't hurt an ankle. If it's too wet, it's really difficult to walk so a light sprinkling is ok.
There is a noticeable difference in the how green your lawn is before and after if you skip from 3:26 to 8:27. Granted fertilizing no doubt helped. Do you notice any difference this year? I know that one of the things that adversely affect my lawn is when I dump snow during winter shoveling and also where the snow and salt from the city plowing during the winter ends up so my plan this year is to aerate the lawn in the fall and supplement with gypsum to offset the salt. Also do you think you could do an update on the lawn this year because so few people do. It would help to see if it each year builds on the prior.
@TheDylan6908 Yeah, I'm not so technical with what I do or review. I just use it and then talk about what I like or dislike. I just know it improved my lawn.
Been thinking about getting of them. Was thinking I could wear them when I push mow? I have a tow behind 48” core aerator but only use it once/twice a year

Hey thanks for sharing that tip. Yeah wet soil is no good.

Well, with the aeration several times and some moss killer (I have low iron in my area), the grass looks 10 times better than last year.
Looks good
Thanks for your feedback 🙂
The last I read was that spikes don't really aerate. Only removing cores does. In fact, using spikes can actually make the lawn more compacted.
So, aeration has many meanings. Poking holes to allow for water and fertilizer is what I'm doing in this video.
@@AtHomewithLucas I guess what I had read was more regarding decompaction.

You could push mow with them if you have a flat lawn and plan on going slow.
That’s what I was planning on, I mow slow to begin with when push mowing the front. Zero turn only gets used in the back yard. Thank you
@AntoineClaquin-cf2hd hey no problem. Keep me updated on how they work. 👍😁
I need whatever that is on the screen behind you. Where and how?
Oh, during the into? The Tv is playing a CZcams video my boy likes to watch.
