Applebloom’s obsession with this Great Seedling does indeed mirror Linus’ obsession with the Great Pumpkin.

There are only 3 things i liked about this episode-
1. The Great Seedling, his design was awesome
2. Bright Mac and Pear Butter made a second appearance.
3. The sisterly bonding between AJ and Apple Bloom.
Those were the only reasons the episode is good.
Sweetie bell and Rarity has better bond.

The Great Seedling is like the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus.
I did not know you grew up on a farm. That's a sweet little detail that helps to understand... well, a few things, really. I can see why Applejack is your favorite. ;)
Also, the connections with this episode, in particular. I'm glad I stayed to listen to your commentary after. (Normally, I just stick around for your in-the-moment reactions, and I don't really pay attention to the after commentary (sorry if it offends :/ ))

Guess it does make sense when Applejack was Apple Bloom’s age Granny Smith would be the same age as she was during most of the flashback in The Perfect Pear.

Sorry but this is one of the worst Apple episodes, it would be better if they would bring Babs Seed back.
