I mean it depends. In pure grappling ruleset, you can see how those BJJ vs Sambo matchups play out in ONE Championship. MMA grappling is a whole different story where gnp is in the mix.

You can tell how much Volk submission defense improved from working with Craig from how he was able to survive Ortega best submission
To survive that submission is what they said was unreal at the time but it seems to be a negative that he got in that position now and if Islam get's him there which they seem to think he will . Well if Ortega got Islam in that position it would be over so people start to think of that. He will give Islam one hell of a fight and in my mind will demolish him striking even though I smell a bit of arrogance from the Daggy-stans .

I think we can be confident they haven't revealed anything that they don't want to...including Volk's weight. They're not going to show us anything that could possibly catch Islam by surprise. For instance, we can take it that Volk is practicing his takedown defences like a maniac against the best guys available. But they've shown very little of that.
