- One of the oldest remaining Mill in Middleton was engulfed in flames on Thursday evening of December 30th 2021.
Firefighters scrambled to the blaze on Townley Street near the town centre at around 20.45pm
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said flames had already engulfed all three floors of the building by the time they had arrived.
