Two enlightened individuals meet for the first time and one says to the other, nice to meet you again.
I once laid eyes on an enlightened being in Samadhi. I was looking for a spiritual guide and visited many temples and came to one that appeared empty. I saw many books by the same author but could find him no where. So I walked around a bit, looking at a picture of Hanuman jumping out of Shiva’s dead body. I turned around and saw him. His olive skin blended so well with the walls I had not noticed him. He was totally unaware I was there. He was looking at the painting with a huge smile on his face. He was positively radiant. I didn’t have the nerve to disturb him. But his face, I will never, ever forget. His smile, his peace, his bliss. The possibility for enlightenment surrounds us. If we don’t pay attention, we’ll miss it. May we all strive to experience his bliss. ❤

I believe that one can only see what is on their level or below. Most people can’t see more “enlightened” beings than their level is current at and often think that they are boring/ weird or just miss them totally.
My personal perspective
that exactly happened to me one time I was dead for 10 mins due to anxiety attack. i had a complete outside body experience. and seeing that door in the wall. all the life was passing by in front of my eyes. but when i came back to my body. I realised what awakening in reality is. you forget all the false connections you thought you had in this world. thank you so much Sadhguru for this explanation.
I don't usually like Sadghuru videos, but this story was golden.
The man did "Marananussathi Bhaavana".Every moment he thought " jivithan aniyatam maranam niyatham ". Gautam Buddha explained this meditation in sutta pitaka very clearly . Buddha Dhamma Sangha Triple gem bless you all .From sri lanka 🇱🇰

Our body die. The point is what do we use our immortal soul with living in the mortal body. To stay blissful and happy without any attachment also acknowledges everything in the universe is made to be equal.
Yes, we all are dying every minute, bit by bit, coming closer to the day when this life will end. But things don't stop there. We move on to a new phase in a new form. It is best to accept this and not grieve but to joyfully embrace it all. 👍👍🙏🙏 ❗❗

He refuses to acknowledge that I am enlightened. I have told the story of how I did Isha Kriya and was reading Ramana Maharishi and had an epiphany and that evening was bestowed with enlightenment. It is a physical experience. My experience I grew as if I were fifty feet tall and everything was surreal and real at the same time. I blew apart and came back together.
If you're enlightened then what do you need his acknowledgement for?
@@luxnox9303 My suspicion is that anybody who was TRULY enlightened would not seek for recognition, or feel any need to tell anybody. But that's just my impression. The need for recognition is clearly rooted in ego.

The phenomenon of "no mind" is not the essence of enlightenment, but rather a foundation for wisdom to reveal. If the catalyst is a near-death experience, depression, cloistering in a cave, slipping on a banana peel, or whatever, then unless I commit to the same, of what value is it to me? Until we collectively die to the hypnosis of modern society, and wake up to a serious conversation whereby enlightenment is the centerpiece of leadership, politics, education, health care, business, technology, the arts... basically everything we robotically do, (including yoga, zen, vipassana etc), I predict there will be no dude around to be laughing, with no vegetables to sell and no vegetable stand.
Of course death and life are simular in meaning. Dead is not alive and life is not death. But this is the same for all gradations. Life is up's and down's. Without up's and downs, no life. If every day is a party, no party. If the man in the story did not get sick, no enlightment. And stuck with a wife which does not deserve him. Ha ...

Greetings from New Zealand - Yes, @@SilviMariaEngl however, I don't consider it to be a cultural way as such of a particular people or society as it happens in lots of countries, I'm thinking of how some people use bargaining as a way to take advantage of other human beings + anyway your commentary was more about the overall message in the video rather than some of the individual wording + "in the end nobody wins unless everybody wins"

It cannot be expressed in words but only to be experienced. If not 100 %,
at least some yogis and rishis expressed this state reasonably closer to this experience in some scriptures.
Sadguru experience of this state in one his vedeo at Mysore Chamundeswari temple is one of the best as per my view.
