another way to use Vocal Rider is to send all your instruments to a bus and then sidechain that into Vocal Rider, that's actually what the music knob is for, it sets how much of the music you want coming in to Vocal Rider. . For some reason Waves never explained this. I set it to "write" and then set reaper's trim button also to "write" and you can have vocal rider print out the automation. It is pretty neat
That's a great tip, holmes-- thanks! I never knew what that knob was for
It's mentioned in the manual for the plugin but isn't very advertised or obvious. It's a great feature!
My favorite place to come to refresh my knowledge and learn new things quick! ❤
Yessss, we need more content on automation. There's not enough talk about automation on the internet. Been waitin for this long time
Automation is one of those things that's easy to learn but hard to master. THIS was a lesson worth learning though! Totally need to do more than just volume automation. Time to tackle some plugins.
Huge fan of automation here! I even bought Presonus Faderport this year to draw all kinds of automation in my mixes. Great video Miami! Love everything you do and learning much from you bro!
Thank you Sir
Mannn I love automation, Reaper is perfect to play around with automation!
It really simplifies the whole process

I love automation, but when the mix revisions come in that's when I hate it
Great video!
Covering the basics is important for beginners like me.
I love automation. As soon as I found out how to use it I've been automating all sorts to try and give my mixes more energy.
On my last mix I automated parameters on dblue glitch and Dumpster fire to make the song sound like it was disintegrating on the breakdowns.
Thank you oh mighty Lord!
please Joey, talk about vca faders, and their relation with groups, sub groups, inserts and sends. Thanks
Yes, please!
What about drums, guitar and bass and other intruments. How and when do yuo automate them?
Great video. Would to see a video about Cubase automation modes. Never really saw that explained well anywhere. Let's say I have a chorus plateau of 2 db, and I want to change that to 3 db. I know I can edit the numbers, but I want to do it with the fader. How please :)
Yo I see Miami posts a video I click like
Always appreciate you Mahmoud

Ps: message received, always keep hands dry.
