GKD (GidKidDad) is a YT channel that used to react to PPOP, specifically SB19. They visited the Philippines to see the PPOP scene and was impressed by the talent of Pinoys. They then decided to put up a music production office here in the Philippines solely for PPOP artists.
Wow from GKD label, they used to be a reactors of SB19 videos now a producer of Ppop group.
The boys definitely showed the 2 sides of an eclipse, the light and the dark. Eclypse members are so talented. You need to check out their acapella covers with such insane harmonies. I love all of them and my biases are Joshuel and Dean.😊❤
The makeup is very much an American high school/university "show your school spirit on the day of the big game" thing. I have no idea if that tradition migrated to the Philippines, but given GKD is an American company, it might have come from them.

They used to belong to a dance group pre-SB19 days.
Joshuel was also part of a Korea-based group called Z-Boys, which had members from the Philippines, Japan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan. It's too bad they disbanded partly due to the pandemic. They (as well as their sister group, Z-Girls) were ahead of the times.
Glad more are checking out PPOP groups! Pls also check out PPOP girl groups BINI and G22. Live vocals and great messages to their songs just like the female versions of SB19
Yes! Maybe it's time for them to react to our Ppop idol girl groups, and expand their Ppop idol groups reactions and discussions or commentaries, aside from expanding on the Ppop idol boy groups beyond SB19, like what they just did with ECLYPSE, and also maybe take the suggestion of one of the other commenter here, which is ALAMAT, and then they can go into VXON, BGYO, PLUUS, 1ST.ONE, and HORI7ON next, among others.
Among the Ppop idol girl group, they can definitely begin with G22 and BINI, and then maybe go into KAIA, DIONE, and YGIG next, among others.

Eclypse vocals are no joke. GKD was able to screen them very well. One thing good about them. They are all good boys. And I'm proud of GKD who are also proud Atins making it to the surface. Congrats to GKD. MORE POWER!

The professor in the video is Josh, thr GidKidDad himself. Well, there were actually 2nof them in that channel, when they were still doing reaction videos in the US.
There's another group with impressive vocals and talents like sb19 their group is called ALAMAT.. pls try to react to their song on wish bus 107.5 GAYUMA OR SAY U LUV ME.. they are my 2nd fav ppop group besides SB19.. hope you could check them out they're pretty impressive as well... thank you for reacting to ECLYPSE.. PPOP is more on vocal agilty and harmonies more than MV's and dancing...
Yes, I agree! I love the Philippine linguistic, cultural, and ethnic diversity they bring to their music, songs, lyrics, choreography, fashion, and productions, and that they also add to the Filipino music, OPM (Original Pilipino/Pinoy [Filipino/Filo] Music), Ppop, Ppop music, and Ppop idol (or idol group) industries, in general.
Most of the other Ppop groups "shout Filipino" or just "shout Filipino", but ALAMAT, for me, "screams Filipino" for more times than the other groups as groups.
Also, for me, Ppop's fortes, or at least their edges, among other Pop or Idol Pop/Idol Pop Group industries of other countries, especially here in East and Southeast Asia, are more into anything related to voice and singing, songwriting with lyricism and poetry or song lyrics' meanings/double meanings/wordplays/messages/lessons, and in performing, dancing, singing, or dancing while singing in live and/or public settings, more than things like production things related to online and social media contents, music and song and also music-related and song-related contents, dance and dance-related contents, lyrics and lyric-related contents, MVs, group's series contents/vlog contents/behind-the-scene contents, and live, public, onstage, video, and/or television productions and other productions and contents related to those, which are mostly dominated by most East Asian, Indian, and Western countries and their pop, pop music, and pop group industries.
