That woman is Sheryl Crow who sang praises of MJ while he was alive and even hinted at a romance there and when that mockumentary was released, she was just as quick to stab MJ in the back. Without being MJ's backup singer, she wouldn't have she success she has today by the way.
Siedah Garrett who is the original duet singer for this song does it much better and she co-wrote Man in The Mirror as well. She has been loyal to MJ up til today and stands by his innocence.
And I love the performance of Siedah and Michael in Argentina where Siedah wears a blonde wig and Michael laughs so much that he can't sing the song properly.

@@Jayden-sh2jt I read her actual interview actually and did some research before I said what I said. I know media cannot be trusted at all. She doesn't deny what she said but claimed her words were taken out of context but if you read it, you can see that either she is sitting on the fence or insinuating that something bad was going on and with the help of "a huge network of people allowing this to happen". She could have been more straightforward about it and not leave her sentences 'dangling'. Shavonn & Monroe So here comes the tea...one of the guys from that HBO doc accusing MJ of allegedly abusing him (James Safechuck) went on the Bad Tour with MJ on some shows, along with his mother and the lady on the video singing with MJ (Sheryl Crow) said last yr in a magazine interview that she was uncomfortable about that and felt it was wrong and lied that she never saw the kids parent around. Which is bullshit because there are several pics online of James and his mother during that time. James met MJ when Pepsi hired him for a commercial starring MJ. Ya’ll saw it when y’all did a MJ commercials reaction.
So MJ wanting to help this kids career at the time took him and his mom on tour with him so he can come on stage at the end during the Bad song to dance on stage with other kids. Anyway we fans called Sheryl out on her B.S and that her whore ass should shut up since she was too busy fucking MJs married piano player on the Bad tour the whole time to even claim to see anything. That affair ended a marriage. Months later she expressed regrets saying things about MJ on a TV interview. Most likely because we put her business out there.

She doesn’t lack soul. But ultimately she’s more of a folky, rocker-type, singer-songwriter. This is a bit out of her style, not necessarily her league, but it was her first “real” job in music business, after moving to LA. Have you heard her solo music? That would give you a clue as to why maybe she doesn’t “fit” the song…
You don’t need to say “she lacks soul, I never liked her”, lol. I’m not saying what you should and shouldn’t say. I’m just suggesting it’s not necessary to say someone lacks something and THEN say “never liked her”. In reality, Michael hired her for a reason, likely because Siedah was busy or unavailable… so if Michael approves, his fans should approve, too, I would think. His diehard fans, at least.

Review siedah Garrett her and Mike recorded the song, but she was working on something else and back towards the end of the tour and toured after the bad tour co lately and sang it with him, she's wayy better.
Funny she switched her wig to blonde during the tour, people told her not to because he didnt like change, but she did anyway Michael during the performance had to hold back laugh. Check it out
