The blush dries down to a luminous finish - very flattering on mature skin. It started to fade after about 6 hours, so you would need to touch up if that bothers you. That being said, it is a GORGEOUS option if you prefer a very natural "undone", lit-from-within flush to the cheeks. I would highly recommend it!

You seem to be able to wear every shade of blush! You love blush and blush loves you!
I have the Anastasia dual sided highlighter and eyebrow pencil ✏️. It’s okay. The one Benefit made was so much superior. The pigmentation was better, too. It’s a highlighter you blend into the arch under your eyebrow. Such a simple, easy makeup trick that opens up the whole eye area! My Benefit eyebrow highlighter is now just a stump after sharpening it so many times. It’s currently stuck inside the lid, because it’s so tiny now!

I know the benefit one you mention. I've never tried it though. Will put it on the bucket list. I recently bought another benefit brow pencil, I chose it over the ABH one because I haven't used the ABH one before. Better the devil you know and all that. 😅

I prefer ABH packaging- it’s more luxurious. I am a sucker for luxurious packaging, whereas Benefit’s packaging tends to look a bit teeny bopper. The benefit brow highlighter is without a doubt the real deal though!

I think that Anastasia thinks that people will buy their products based on their name. However, they should pay more attention to the package.

Definitely! I was very surprised at the low quality of the packaging. And the brush on the end!?? It belongs on children's face paint!! 😅

Hi Sue I haven't tried this particular blush, but I really only use cream or liquid blush and have a few lol. I always loved cream blush and wore it long long before it was popular, probably around 25 years at a guess - anyone remember the introduction of Bobbi Brown pot rouge or the Daniel Sandler watercolour blushes? I also used Origins pinched cheek which was a gel and the Stila convertible pot blushes back in the day. Nowadays there are so many to choose from and the formulas are more longwearing - no need now to top up with your lipstick half way through the day.
I was in Edinburgh on Monday having a wander round all the cosmetic counters, as I'm on the hunt for a new foundation (I came back with several samples). Whilst there I noted Harrods beauty has a Pat McGrath counter. I've always been curious about the shockingly expensive eyeshadow palettes at £100 plus - well FOMO has left for me totally. The "special" shades are glitter bombs and not what I want for my 51 year old eyelids, so I no longer need to look at them on videos wondering if they are as amazing as portrayed. I just thought I would share, as you may not have PM counters near you (it's new in Edinburgh) and may also have wondered. Many of us beauty addicts out here have seen the videos with everyone praising the PM palettes and although most of us would hesitate re the price, it just goes to show how the hype can suck us in. I'm so so glad I didn't buy one as I would have been really disappointed having paid so much for it. I think the Viseart formula is far better and a lot less expensive (at least for my mature/textured eyelids).
The Anastasia brand does not have fancy packaging btw in any of their products - including the eyeshadow palettes. I'm unsurprised the packaging on the blush isn't luxury, but I'm glad you're enjoying the formula and shade. Best wishes.

Hi Loraine. I remember the BB pot Rouge when it still came in the big pans. I remember being peeved when they made them smaller! Good to know about the PM palettes. I have often wondered about them. The price is excessive though and on some level, I'm glad that you didn't fall in love with them. You've saved yourself some money!! I always find it doubly disappointing when HG products don't live up to the hype. ABH is relatively new here. I'd like to try the Soft Glam mini eyeshadow palette. And yes, I was very surprised at the plasticky blush packaging. It's identical to the cheap Shein stick blush made in China, including the unusable brush 😳. Not what I expected for the money but at least the actual blush is good xx

@@Fifty-sense no need to worry as I wouldn’t have bought it at that money anyway lol, even if I had liked it. I don’t own any of the Anastasia palettes due to the colour stories- they’re all very warm when you see them in person. As you’re not as cool toned as me and you like both warm and cool shades you may like them. The eyeshadow formula seems fine and we all had everyone tell us how amazing they were for ages a few years ago. X

Just a suggestion, maybe include the price of the items you review? 😊

Hi Robyn. Thank you for the suggestion. I will do. The blush is R650 / US$32 😉
