And city sling 2 by AER (if you put a gun to my head and told me to choose one it would be the CAS2) for four liters it’s hands down the aer day sling2 but you can try out the tom toc sling since the day sling 2 is out of stock (you can try out the day sling 3. Amazing bag but I just like the 2 more) and for big slings it’s between the chrome kadet and the trakke largo sling

If it has to be bigger, then the Metrorunner01, also from Greenroom136. If it has to be smaller, then the Bum Bag from Blue Ridge Overland Gear. Keep up the good work! 👍

You started out noting that a previous poster had written that nobody in NYC wears sling bags. I am not certain what Borough he is in but I am in Manhattan and everyone here wears sling bags. Women and some men have been wearing crossbody bags here forever and now many have transtioned from those to sling bags. The choices in slings are endless now and men and women can easily find some that suit them for whatever their needs. Nor do I think they look like fanny packs. Those were useful but awful looking. I have the Grams28 and it looks very handsome. There is nothing fanny packing about it.

I wear them if i plan trips with minimal carry. Very easy to access items compared to a backpack, and better than stuffing pants pockets (already have a lot sagging down there) I tend to go with backpacks though since i tend to carry a bit more and don't like slings digging into my shoulders or shifting around as i move especially at jogging speed or faster
Fashion advice opinion is just that their opinion, they would have fun with me I wear compression leggings-tights when I train for my long distance walks up to 22km 🤣so a sling bag i.e. Murse so no big deal. Exercise that is why I like my bicycle, I can unplug from the electronic devices for a bit, and just enjoy some quiet me time. I remember using all those mics and cables when I was a journalist, back then I usually used a mic plugged into the camera, it's easy to fix audio levels in the editing software.

How would you rate the quality of DJI Pocket 3 comparing to Iphone 15 Pro Max (or any high end smartphone that is fairly new)? I film a lot with my iPhone and I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to a dedicated camera.
I don't have an iPhone to compare. On paper the ability to record in prores on the iPhone is better. However, I believe a dedicated camera with the extra lav mic is much superior. Because on the iPhone you will need to attach a mic set and maybe an SSD. So I personally love the pocket 3 with the lav mic, because I can deploy it much faster and easier to record footage. For fast recording without a mic a phone is cool though
With smartphones, keys, card wallets and so on, slings are a very useful item. You only have to get the right one. I don't like to have stuff in my pockets, specially in warm months.

I had it about 4 years ago, when I was on vacation. I put the keycard of the hotel room and my iphone, which had magsafe, in the same pocket and couldnt enter my room, cause the data on that card (it was a nfc card) was deleted.
Men should absolutely wear sling bags and not give af what others think. I’ve had a phone stolen without a sling right out of my pocket and they’re especially useful for when you’re wearing sweats or gym shorts with loose pockets. My phone has fallen out of my pocket so many times in the car, the worst was on the road as I was exiting my car resulting in a cracked screen. Slings are also excellent for quick errands to have essentials sort of organized for a quick grab and go. Pockets aren’t always enough and backpacks or messengers are sometimes too much to lug around. Phone, wallet, key fob, sunglasses and a small power bank are the basic essentials. You can go further and add medications, small pocket knife, flashlight that can all come in clutch for when you’re out and about all day.
No, I neither box with glasses nor with contacts. I have hard contacts and I am too afraid of damaging them or my eyes. So I go more or less blind into it haha. But it's ok

I need my phone, wallet, a pen, sanitiser, passport, cash, glasses, Airpods etc. The choice is to have your trousers full of shit, or a simple sling that you slide around to grab what you need. Women shouldn't be the only ones who are allowed to wear style and men shouldn't be the only ones allowed to wear function either. We are all victims of this convention. The ones of us believing men shouldn't be allowed to wear slings/purses/sacoches, and women who want tough, padded, functional bags that're stylish and colorful, especially so.

Yes, I don't like one sided weight distribution. Which is why I don't like slings over 2l usually. Anything bigger and I prefer to go with a backpack
In summer in shorts and t-shirt, it's impossible to store sunglasses, reading glasses, airpods, phone, Keys, wallet without some kind of bag.

I use a mini duffle bag from Supreme it’s like 5.5L. Totally looks like a duffle bag so throws people off the scent of it being my man purse.
