they played in drop e before (8 string tuning) but on a 7, using an 8 gives much more versatility on higher strings
But this is in dropped A with an additional low E string below. It's the same tuning Empathea did use for "Bitter Taste of Ironknee" and "Cut Your Beards".

Drop E I think, no idea what strings he's using but I assume they're at least 75's
Seems to basically be E Standard, with a Low A, and then followed by the Low E (An octave down from standard) As for gauges, no idea.

Drop A, but modified with a low and high E. That being said, E A E A D F# B E. I would assume standard 8-string gauges, .010 to .074.
Exotic tuning. The only other band I know that uses this is Empathea. They used it for eg "Bitter Taste of Ironknee", but I think they said they would go for .064 and .080 for the low A and E strings on a 29" scale. But idk about the scale of this blakheart.
