I was there. The entire show was amazing! I went with my uncle, auntie and some cousin and my god sister, DeVante was so happy onstage , Dalvin killed it and Jojo was up there killing it too. They were interacting with the fans, I wish I had the clip but DeVante and one of the other singers were laughing at my uncle and auntie because they had their own dance routine to freek n u 😂. We were sitting in the third row to the left of the stage. TLC was amazing too. The show itself was whole vibe.

Devante was creating magic!! We view magic as what Hollywood shows us. But in reality the fact that someone can take musical ideas from his head and create amazing songs that bring lots of notoriety and wealth! That’s PURE MAGIC!!!

Thank you for mentioning the home invasion that he was a victim of. He stopped making regular appearances with the rest of the group after that happened. I thought that was STILL the reason he was a recluse. ❤️Jodeci.

All four members have just completed the Culture Tour" with New Edition and Charlie Wilson. The tour ended this weekend in Miami to rave reviews. Mr. Dalvin hinted in his Instagram that the fans should look for more from them coming up!

@@deonnadyson I meant him through one of my good friends who is a fellow musician after a performance at Baltimore airfram festival… We became good friends and ask me to play for the first band he put together for Jodeci…. Devante was one of the koolist dudes you could meet… He let the whole band stay at his house so that we could all jell together…

@@deonnadyson He is a good dude….Layed back, hard worker and will give you the shirt off his back… He was once gifted some huge diamond stud earrings and just handed one over to me outta nowhere… I remember coming from the market back to his house and he was in his den listening to this music and he called me back there and ask me what I thought off the music cause he knew that I was gonna give him an honest answer.. I told him that if who ever did the music had the right equipment the music would be on another level… Later found out it was Tim Cause about a week after that Tim was there at the house with Chad Elliot making music…
If it weren't for Devante, Timbaland wouldn't have made it with his signature sound back then. If you listen to Timbaland when he started out with S.B.I (Surrounded by Idiots), he had a completely different sound. He learnt so much from Devante but doesn't get the recognition that he deserves.

No offense, there is no vs against any group. When Jodeci hit the R&B landscape, they made all the other groups irrelevant, even Boyz II Men and Boyz II Men were superb before Jodeci took over! They brought that needed edge to R&B which is done by 100% of the remaining R&B singers now.

It was like DeVantè just disappeared from Planet Earth. It is April 16, 2023 and I am just finding out that Jodeci are back together touring. DeVantè is a musical genius. Many people can't "overstand" that he is a multi-talented artist. I was thinking that he was out there in the "cosmos" 🌕🌠🌠🌕jamming with others who are not from Planet Earth. 😂 I am an old lady and he is still "FINE." 😂 P.S. I do know that DeVantè was going through some things. I blame the wicked music industry for that. Gotta do some research on how they REALLY get down in "Hollyweird." I'm glad they are back! ❤
@@Nicoletta13 Hopefully, he gets past the past. The music industry really has not been the same since Jodeci walked alway from the limelight back then. I am a huge fan of their music. Their first album was a winner for me. After that, things started to falter. I'm glad they are back. ❤ P.S. Just to let you know, I am an old lady, but, I do know real music when I hear it. They (Jodeci) are some "bad boys." MC Hammer told us that "we can't touch this." 😂

I read your post. Interesting indeed. I agree that the B2M guys are very good. Cant question. But I think B2M can battle with Silk or Shai. Silk are very consistent and powerful. Shai, I think could have reached all heights if the original member had not left.

The reason I pick them is because they came out exactly the same year a month apart, they toured together and the way they do Verzuz you got songwriting, K-Ci and Jojo catalog, they longevity is long! The group as whole stopped in 1995 but K-Ci and Jojo let the brand keep going

When Jodeci Album first came out was in "91" I was 10 yrs old remember it like it was yesterday...TIMELESS CLASSIC ALBUM 12 when Diary of a mad band came out 14 when the third album dropped...The only one could vs.them is Dru Hill...
Dru Hill had 1 okay album but Jodeci gave us 3 Classics - Boyz II Men is the only group that does make sense and Dru Hill is basically Sisqo with background singers. It's not really a group.
