The black album was like an asteroid hitting the earth. Many bands till this day will describe there own best album as there black album.

I was fortunate to see Metallica in Orlando in August 1993. The opening band was Faith No More, then Metallica and the headliner was Guns N Roses! I had never heard of Metallica before the concert. I was blown away at how good they were. I happened to be in Atlanta in the spring of 1994 and went to see them in concert again! Suicidal Tendencies opened, then Candlebox, and Metallica was the headliner! I have been fortunate and still listen because no one else is their equal still today, thank you Metallica for the memories!
