  • To develop the suspension for the Indy Powered S15 Project I needed to scan the VK45 engine to develop a front and rear motor plate. I used a 3D MakerPro Lynx scanner and wrote all the details in a blog post engineeredtoslide.com/2024/01... check it out and thanks for watching.

I could really benefit from you walking through your suspension design. Thank you for the willingness to share your knowledge!

Super sick! Hoping to see more of the process of 3D modeling and how you apply everything with making parts. I don’t care how long the video is.

I got to meet you and see the hilux at the Summernats and it was so much better in person than what you can show online and this new build is already going WAY beyond that.
I would say that I'm following this build but I have been following your progress since the hilux was featured on buildthreads all the years ago

For the scanning use ‘dry shampoo’ spray from the shampoo isle at Woolies and it smells nice :) it’s a light spray on talc powder

Thanks for the comments, I don’t have association with HPA anymore and I do a lot of different things to make ends meet.

Curious to see what you think of the scanner. Ppl have said it’s just another knock off Creality scanner and doesn’t do a good job at scanning cars. Nonetheless hoping you have a great experience as the price point is amazing

5:36 camber curve and roll center is moot while hitting big dippers and pitching the front as you're showing here. You need to roll the chassis then check the figures
