This was one of my childhood show growing up, and probably the one that got me mostly invested into anime. It was a journey following this boy to become the man he is now, and to see him accomplish his goals. I love this anime so much

As far as I remember he wasn't, and honestly him not crying for some reason made the scene even cooler because he that meant that he wasn't sad like that, he was angry and just ready to beat the shit out of Sasuke.

@@SwedesElRio I don't know what more you need from a character like Kakashi. He was a solid side character with a great backstory and some great moments in the actual story as well. He wasn't that much of an expressive character, but it is wild to even think that Kakashi is a garbage character.
For all of its flaws Naruto has an undeniable place in the history of the genre. So many memories, iconic characters, fights and powers it really helped set the standard, no matter what came after. A well deserved celebration for 20 years
memories have nothing to do with judging a piece of work. You can't say something was so good cause of "memories"

Naruto, for all it's flaws, is still a top 10 anime for me. It's what really got me into anime. Kishimoto is a 🐐for giving us such a series! And Pierrot are the 🐐's for giving us this!

@@mastixencounter the animation was clean but waay too fluid and distorted for my taste in some sections, it almost lloked like some looney tunes type of show. I still liked it tho (kind of reminded me of the Hiei vs Bui fight from yuyu hakusho) and i respect Pierrot for experimenting with their style for the main fights, it payed off with the masterpiece of an adaptation that was the last fight between Naruto and Sasuke

The manga adaptation is called Sasuke Retsuden, mainly based on Sasuke and Sakura on a mission to find a cure for Naruto's disease. It will be released on October 23 (Illustrated). And yes, it is canon.

Naruto is without question a Goat if not the goat in anime. This show introduced some many to the genre and did an amazing job of being a template for what makes an anime/manga great. Also bluebird for me is one of the greatest intros every.
Naruto is the GOAT for me. Dragon Ball and One Piece can have their respective titles being the Father of the big three and the longest running anime but Naruto will be that show I rewatch on a rainy day or when I'm feel super down in the dumps. Nothing's better then "Believe it!".
