Stealing? The gallery is there for everybody to use as long as you're not claiming it as your own then you're not stealing. Some people need to chill.

Yeah, it's voluntary to upload your things to the gallery, so anyone who doesn't want to share doesn't have to. It's definitely not stealing in any way!
I had took someone's base and change the clothing and hair Uploaded it. And they said I stole their gallery item. Even though when compared the only thing the same was the face.
I love how you need other players to get these items cause sims team couldn't even be bothered

Imagine them being lazy enough to remove the changing table last minute while also forgetting to delete the corresponding code in the base game
They know its there they also know most players are just gonna give in and get growing together anyway. Not only are there console players, there are PC players who just want to boot up the game and have things. They aren’t gonna make the effort to comb through CC and Mods. They will just eventually buy growing together.
Actually, any item that is present in multiple packs needs to be included in the base game to work properly due to programming issues.

@@Squirty___ which makes no sense whatsoever because for YEARS simmers have complained that when packs release new gameplay objects they don’t match any other furniture and so don’t look good outside the pack’s aesthetic, but for this one pack they actually take the time to make multiple variations of the new object to not just match their new furniture set but also two sets of base game furniture, and because of this everyone is screaming that obviously the item should be free. Thanks a lot, now they’ll never do that again and we’ll go back to gameplay objects having only one style with minimal swatches.

I only owned the base game and from the very first time you created a video about sims sessions at sims gallery , I always used it on my games especially those tables for yard sales and those tents ..Thank you so much Satch! You helped me so much especially with your reviews about the packs and now I'm a better simmer,you helped me to save money rather than getting the unworthy packs in sims 4.. I genuinely thank you for that and the entertainment you brought into the sims community..
The fact that this video just changed the game for people who only own bg, I’ve never seen anybody talk about this table being like a sales system and owning a shop in bg, this is game changing for those people! I’m so glad and now I’m gonna be using it as well cause I never knew it was functional, I always saw it in cottage living videos so I lost hope but now I know that I have it with city living and basegame!
“Around the sims 4” has several kids CC objects, including a swing set.
Since the main thing I have been doing is enhancing my kids objects, I can say a lot is actually out there. Ravasheen has a slide for kids that I love. As I think the only one in-game is the one you can get as an addon to the treehouse in growing together. Which doesn’t help with parks where I just want standard play equipment.
There’s also a basegame infant mat. You can’t do tummy time as that is growing together locked, but still handy for like giving your baby a nap in the living room without taking them all the way to a crib.
Was it Parenthood or the Toddler update that the ballpit and tunnel crawl came into play? I remember there being a slide and it came as a set, but you could also use the ballpit, tunnel crawl and slide seperately.
@@jenniferc.6165 those are just for toddlers, not older children/kids. Even the kids room stuff is pretty limited in stuff kids (not toddlers) can use. A giant voidcritter station and that puppet theater was all they got in kids room stuff where as the toddler stuff had more ‘play’ equipment. Even CC creators have made more stuff for toddlers exclusively than kids or useable by both. There are some small toys for both in the game.

Twisted Mexi has updated her better build buy mode to get rid of the shopping cart!
She truly is a wonderful and blessed soul. I am forever grateful for her mods. The shopping cart hasn't appeared for me yet, but if it does I'll be prepared.😊
9:24 I think Ravasheen (RVSN) has made a swing set or two, I think there’s a modular one as well so you could have like a patio swing
RVSN has the best CC gameplay objects imo. You can find very rare objects which no one else makes, like woodcrafting table or family portraits

@@Inspirational-17 The base game code supports the packs that’s why they do patches before most releases. While there may be ‘fixes’ they also need to prep the base game for the pack. All that to say, because the basegame code for something exist *now*, it does not mean it was always there since 2014. Like because the selling table exist in multiple packs the code in the game needs to tell the object how to work. Different versions of the object are behind a paywall, but the code it is calling on to work is basegame. So probably a lot of things are “base game” code (current day) that don’t have any useable objects for that code until you buy (insert pack).

It's better than accidentally clicking Manage Worlds when actually you want your Library. (Yes, I've done that a few times.) So my complaint about the shopping cart is that it should be between the Library and Manage Worlds buttons ... I'd much rather have to dismiss a quick popup than wait through one loading screen getting out and another getting back in to the lot.

With the sales table, I have found the the Home Chef Hustle one is much much better than the others. It says "start food sale" but you can sell all the regular things on it.
I sold multiple items in quick succession with the HCH table, the others took me forever to sell anything...
SHIFT CLICK ON THE STAGE: You can actually get performers to come (but it's glitchy asf)
And the mini-van vendor stands that you got with the tents from the gallery are functional too! (and this part ISN'T glitchy)
Also a CC Creator HAS made a BG swing set: RAVASHEEN
im pretty sure ravasheen has a swingset called "moodswings", its pretty similar to the seasons one ^^
Bikes are also coded for base game, just not for kids. There are a few cc bikes for base game available :)
Satch, I personally own a cc of a growing together bgc swing, so basically the cc maker turned the growing together swing into basegame, and I use it all the time, I also believe I have a few more swings, they’re just really hard to find
That single table has added TONS of gameplay time in the basegame alone.... Cafe... Ornament store... etc etc... there's so much you can do!... thanks, Satch!
I have plenty of cc swing sets. I particularly live ravasheens sets since she liberates them from the bar and I can have it look like it's hanging from the tree or a patio
Vanity Tables and Rocking Chairs also have base-game coding. Peacemaker has a whole set of Rocking Chairs CC that are base game that I use all the time.
satch EA needs to fix their app!! i can no longer play sims 3 because my "game ownership was disabled or deleted" but sims 4 launches just fine and other players are having the same issues with sims 3 and 4 😢
Yes!! This is the reason I stopped playing like a year ago because of them forcing us to move to the EA App. They’ve received so many complaints and don’t do anything about it! I would love to ask for a refund since it won’t load any of the games that I literally paid for and download it again on Steam. Ain’t nobody got time for that bs!!!
I believe that the code from the vintage glamour vanity table was added to the base game when modern luxe kit came out.
I don't know if the same thing happens every time a gameplay object from a pack gets added into a different pack
Satch, Fantayzia did a vid the other day letting us all know that Simmattically has also brought out a mod that gets rid of the cart button. So we have a choice now. Twisted Mexi with BBB and Simmattically's standalone package. I love this community 😂😁
The CC pack Sweet Treats from LittleDica comes with a swing-set! it’s a Katy Perry inspired CC pack so it’s very busy and colourful but it does have one.

The rocking chair coding is also in the base game, and there are tons of cc options to download

The Kalintr0n made a palm swing that looks like a bent palm tree! its one of my favorite CC objects. perfect for island living and oasis springs. however i think the tree mesh was taken from island living so it might still be required.
Sandy from Around the Sims has a custom swing set in her kids playground pack, and Ravasheen has a set called Mood Swings, which has some standalone swings (optional frame peaceable separately) you can hang (by lining up with alt) from tree branches, beams indoor ceilings, anywhere you like!
Im pretty sure that the bike is also technically basegame, as multiple packs come with them... Same thing with the vanity table. Sadly you do need cc to get them without packs.
There is a nice swing cc set by Ravasheen, she even seprated swing and frame so you can put the swing anywhere. Mood swings i think it is called.

Mine is not only still there, but displays text boxes under it.
I keep wanting to find an actual functional washer and dryer for the base game and a functional vanity for the base game too. My sim's houses feels very fake without those.

Actually Ravasheen made a CC swing, i think is the only cause is the only option that pop up when i was looking for a swing😅
Ravasheen (an awesome mod creator) has made cc swings for the game. You can even put them in a tree branch as if the kids built it themselves.

I was going to say I knew sales table functionality was in base game - I had cc that took advantage of that for a couple years before I bought JA and didn’t need it anymore - but I didn’t realize there was an actual base game table in debug now so you don’t even need a cc object to hook to the functionality! Great for console players.
Just use a mod to remove the shopping cart. I think I used the one by Simatically. Such a relief to not see it every time I play!

i use curseforge for my mods since i'm too lazy to sort them into folders myself and it's been a life savior! i found base game compatible skylights which was a lot considering i didn't buy (moreso pirate) any packs back then

MercuryFoam has a mod that brings back Sims Sessions and makes the stage fully usable!
I forgot that the sales table was in the Sins Sessions items.
That speaker stand though, my sims find that in the dumpster alllll the time.

I think it's really cool to make videos like this. Because you often bash the packs, often rightfully so. So it's nice that you make videos like, "Yeah, I keep telling you not to buy useless packs. Here are some resources you didn't know you had available." Having stuff like that proves (at least to me, I know you have some critics) that you're not just shitting on The Sims 4 just for the sake of shitting on The Sims 4 (although sometimes it's fun to be petty about it).

Found this video just as (thanks to a question on Reddit) I decided to do a Base Game Only save! I won't be able to use the changing table one, because I've decided it's going to be mod/cc-free, but I like the yard sale! :) P.S. There's a way to disable DLC if you don't want Judith Ward popping up at your base game yard sale.
A creator I know of that has made a basegane compatible swing set is Lil dica, I think it's in the Katy Perry Sweets Sets of his..
I can't remember where I found it, but there WAS a CC creator that made a swing set with tires connected to a tree. Or the tires might have been wishful thinking and it was just a regular rope swing connected to a tree. I'd been looking for my sister, but it's been a while.
For Sims 3 players, the pool table from showtimes is coded for base game, so CC billiards works.

I can't get over how braindead the "using lots from the gallery is stealing" take is. The gallery only exists so that people can share their creations for other people to use in their games. If they don't want someone else using their Sims or lots, they don't have to upload. Anyone accusing you of "stealing" for simply using a lot has to have the brain of a young toddler.

As a Minecrafter who get a free major game update yearly after only paying $25 over a decade ago, the sims as a franchise is horrifying to me. Microsoft would do wonders with this game if they could get their hands on it. Imagine the cross platform multiplayer they would make possible. Anyway, loved the video!

Honestly it's life changing. I drag cooked food into the fridge, then when my toddler needs to eat, drag it onto the counter, let them get a serving, then put it back in the fridge. So much easier than that damned highchair.

The changing tables were so shamelessly obvious to be meant for the base game, seriously if you were allready leaving all infant gameplay into growing toguether you could have let the tables in base game
