Using Arlecchino as the hunter while Furina is the subject, yeah this mini game is perfect.
Had the opposite experience, with my Arlecchino being chased by a Furina. My mind was constantly thinking "this is wrong."
@@D3Vlicious It's amusing when Arlecchino, being as tall with her shoes as she is, is one of the Rebels. Chasing her with a smaller and cute Noelle while she was frantically trying to escape was hilarious.
Pretty perfect I would say. I played a match today where Arrlechino, Neuvillette and Wriothesley(me) were rebels and Furina was the hunter.

This just isn't as fun as regular wind trace, feels really stacked toward the hunter
Rebels have advantage imo, if multiple rebels go for repairing devices hunter can't catch up to all, and when he gets close to you you can turn invisible and have very good chance of running away.
I like the regular. But in this event, the rebel is easier because sometimes the hunter has to look around. Especially the inazuma map and the camp mob
If the rebels even have some kind of intelligence to just repair devices in different directions, hunter will definitely take the L.
When all three are alerted he have no choice but to choose one, and the other two is free repair. EZ

From a position with a clear line of sight they can easily see if a machine is being repaired from across the map. Mysterious hunch points them in the rebels' direction, and they don't even have to *find* the rebels - scaring them off is enough.
Keep up the area pressure and a timer win is easy, but it usually doesn't even come to that.

fun tip to get semi easy wins with rebel is to use the concealing beacon near those machines and make it look like it blends in with the environment. also if your see a claw mark moving on the screen, if its moving towards you that means the hunter is running to your location/area

I played as Itto in all these games and remember one time Raiden was a hunter and well we run in circles thought whole map whime my teammates worked. I think this is how Vision Hunt Decree was actually made. She also jumped next to me when she caught me, im in tears.

To each their own but this is the worst windtrace we have had.
Rebels have overwhelming advantage in most maps since you just start repairing, bait the hunter, as soon as he get's close you go invis to reposition and hide while the other rebels start repairing on the other side of the map. The hunter has no time to look for you and he has to go stop them and then you start repairing again.
Unless if the rebels are retarded (and i see no fun in that for either side) that's all it takes.
Instead there are other maps that give clear vision and there the hunter has overwhelming advantage and you just lock them up and then wait for their release to recapture them istantly.
There is no thrill of the hunt. There are no smart positioning, there are no cool chases. Just run back and forth.
If you guys like it i'm happy for you... I want the old one back...

quick tip 1: didn't use middle height chars. tiny chars are easier to hide while tall chars run faster.
quick tip 2: if you have a pet, deactivate it. pets can be seen by other players. thus having a seele pet, is like holding a flashlight during night time. pets make one easier to see. makes the hunter easier to avoid and the others easier to find.
quick tip 3: upgrade your liyue and mondstadt statue since these will upgrade your stamina. a hunter with maxed statu will catch up easily to a fleeing player with no statu upgrade.
side note: gadget won't work once in game, so no need for the gliding speed gadget, for exemple.

Because I tested it out being a hunter. Just stick near the machines and occasional tap and then win.
I actually won my first game as a Hider after fixing two devices entirely by myself. It was on the Hilichurl camp map though, which seemed to be relatively easy
Even here the coop is laggy like the overworld exploration, they srsly have to make the movements 100% accurate, theres always been a short delay upon movement in coop & u sometimes teleport

Hm. I thought the Rebels had it easier, to be honest. If the players have played a bit over a few matches, they catch on to teamwork and it's very difficult for the Hunter. I've won in both though Rebel's definitely less challenging.

Hoyoverse turned Windtrace a shittier version and now it's ruined. This is just my opinion but I think the original Windtrace is universes ahead in terms of fun.

What about hunting down your father (I've experienced it)?
Totally different experience from my point of view. Granted, I only played 2 games for the 2k points and both as a Rebel, I singled handedly fully repaired 2 devices myself both times.
I did get caught once, but since I can just get back in the game, there was no problem.
You watch the map, repair a bit and if you see the Hunter approaching, you stop and hide, then go back to repairing.
If the other Rebels are not literally AFK, you will pinball the Hunter from device to device when the repair signal is triggered and they won't catch anyone.
Since the hunter needs to catch everyone 2 times, and a Rebel can easily fully repair a device while the Hunter is chasing someone else on the other side of the map, it seems impossible for the Hunter to win
Yeah, if you have competent teammates and an incompetent hunter. This event is severely stacked towards the hunter.

I guess it might depend a little on the map, I was a Hunter on the Liyue map and that's probably at least twice as big as the Mondstadt vinery. So yea, good luck running 30 seconds from edge of the map to the other with underground levels, as well, looking for Rebels with 30s on their Invisibility cooldown

"Easier for hunter to win" is an understatement lol. Mihoyo practically rigged it for the hunter to win. All the hunter has to do is camp the machines the rebels have to repair and it's gg. The rebel team requires too much coordination which is impossible to achieve with randoms. Edit: I feel like people got tired of hunters being bullied so they complained to Mihoyo I guess
But there are more machines than are necessary to be repaired…

No lol, especially the Liyue map is severely stacked against the Hunter. The map is huge with underground areas, as long as not all 3 Rebels are repairing the same exact device, the Hunter will never catch up with Rebels fixing devices on opposites sides of the map.
The hunter needs around 20s to run to a device when it's triggered and the invisibility is 30s cooldown. All Rebels have to do is not stay together and rotate their invisibility skills, nobody will get caught, Hunter just runs around like a headless chicken
If they want to keep their Genshin impact players they need to make this permanent.

Quite the opposite, a lot of people hate the event, myself included. The Rebel is right in front of me, I use Capture, nothing gets caught because of latency, it's very annoying and it's just running around in circles
