Bluebell Hive. Update 02 Overwintered Brood and a Half

Hello Good People. This is the colony I checked a week ago, it is the overwintered colony which had a super on top. I had previously found brood in the super. This is the second update, this time I made an inspection of the brood box, the first of the year. Though I didn't see the queen at the time of the inspection, on editing she is in fact there. Sorry its a bit of a long clip!
I will try to post regular (shorter!) updates on this colony as it will be interesting to see how thy get on. Ta for viewing and for commenting. Peter

Thanks David. A bit of an experiment. At least they can clean the frames up a bit, might work, might not! Did yours survive winter ok and what are your plans? Have a good Sunday.

Yes they’re all ok so far. I’ve got four. Two are strong and two are smaller. I’ve double brooded the strong ones in the last few days. Will wait and see with the weaker two. Might try demareeing them at some point

@@davidianoliver ta so much. The demaree is a good method, so will definitely do that again on my strongest one also.
