Recently it's about a local band, a wife being beaten by her husband, a pregnant woman who seems determined to ignore all advice, a couple getting married and she didn't want to meet up with her estranged stepfather. Its all pretty mundane run of the mill stuff since Marilyn's daughter turned up and started causing chaos. Oh and Alf is still fishing but he never seems to catch much.
6:44 that's what I loved about Home and Away. The music guys treated a mischievous boy sending off a fax, with the seriousness of an imminent nuclear attack on a major population centre.
They had a key party and Alf chucked Michael's keys behind the couch so him and Fisher could have Pippa, Ailsa and Irene to themselves leaving Michael to dance in the corner all alone in his skin tight hot pants.
I liked the show when storylines were simple yet engaging like this. Now, the show is all about murder and crime etc. But this was when H&A was great.
