I had heard of this band before but never listened because I assumed it wouldn’t be anything close to LP. I could not have been more wrong. I got chills hearing this and honestly thought it was Chester. Incredible work.

Not just the Singer/Shouter. The entire band did an amazing job.
I think it would be a dishonor to the rest of the band to say that the singer has to be hired by the original band.
That would make the rest of this project pointless.
I would just say continue with what you are doing and there is no need for hiring anybody.
Maybe try to write some own stuff and continue the legacy.

I got to agree with the majority of this. The only thing is that until now, I haven’t seen anyone come close to sounding like Chester. This dude nails it and comes extremely close. The rest of the band is great, don’t get me wrong. But many others could do what they do and sound the same. Chesters vocals was once in the lifetime. That’s why people are so impressed. I’m willing to bet that the band knows this as well. Even if I was in this band, I would admit this. I don’t know the man’s name, but he’s amazing.

I avoided looking these guys up until just now, even though I'd heard about them shortly after Chester's passing. I was worried I'd be totally let down and didn't want to get my hopes up that I'd hear anything impressive, because how could someone hope to touch that level? But it came up, I hit play, and when I saw the song my exact thought was "Okay, dude. I'm not expecting you to hold the huge bit, just convince me." Well, I sit here, all my expectations exceeded. And I'm both relieved and grateful that somewhere, here on Earth, someone is carrying that sound on in Linkin Park's current absense. Seal of approval.
Chester and Linkin park got me through some hard times back in the 2000"s. His absence still creeps up from time to time and brings a tear. Well done Hybrid theory, keeping that past alive.
