It's so unbelievable that this is a middle school
Love this group. I wish more middle schools programs would push to be at this level. It would set the bar much higher for high school teams
As a current Independent A performer please I’m barely keeping up with the levels 😂😭 (just joking it’s really great to see kids be able to perform at this level and I’m really glad they seem to have a good instructor as well)

You students were amazing, I’m the guy who donated $500 to help get you guys to WGI, and I’m the guy who bought you all dinner at Steak and Shake that night! Hats off to their instructor. She or he must be a very talented and experienced. These young ladies are a result of that. They are so impressive

Their equipment technique is spot on. Ridiculously good for middle school and still exceptional competing against more experienced guards

Why do I keep feeling like I’m being punked? I have judged for many years and never have I seen a middle school with such training, depth, understanding of the vocabulary, breath and muscular development to pull out a show that is this well written. I’m waiting for someone to say, “Just kidding, folks! We’re all Seniors, ready to move on to Independent Units!”
I do have a question…. Where you are from, what grades do you consider to be middle school? Some are 5th through 8th, some are only 7th and 8th. Some include 9th grade (which is High School Freshman year where I am from.)
Congratulations on making WGI HISTORY, being the first Charter and first middle school to not only compete at World’s, but to MAKE FINALS!!! I’m still in shock.
I saw your 2023 OPEN show yesterday and I’m still trying to digest it. You HAVE to be going to World’s again this year!

California their coaches are from RCC Fantasia they also have a very strong JV strong they did compete at worlds in scholastic open Finals

They’re better than most high schools
They really are! Look for their 2019 and 2020 shows on CZcams. Those two seasons were beyond amazing. 2020 they were ranked 1st gong into WGI for the first time, but wgi got cancelled and all those kids graduated 8th grade and moved onto different HS guards
Such a good show! Im in a middle school gaurd, we are good, but that middle school is unbelievable. Now that middle school might be 7-9 grade. Mine is 6-8
They are 6-8 also. They are amazing and have been for years. Their 2020 a guard probably would have won if WGI wasn’t cancelled!

@@brandonflorio9799 Here is Manhattan Beach Prelims. First time in Sch Open at a power regional and they placed 2nd out of 16 Sch Open guards, only 0.4 away from 1st in prelims. Their prelims run was incredible!!!!! czcams.com/video/nrRvni_Cx7M/video.html
