I use my SCX6 Jeep to pull a wagon full of kids and or RC boats, it never disappoints.

Nice review and I agree with most everything you’ve said….
I’ve got two scx6 rigs….bought both used but like new..
The first one was a the Jeep JLU and the body was horrible getting back on with the fitment and clips install….opted to adapt the Hammer rey body and it’s a game changer….love it…..so much that I went hog wild with mods…metal upgrades and runs on 8s now.
Mt second scx6 is the honcho like yours…mild mods like wheels, quick release clip less body mount, esc tune 17t pinion and run on 4s , just keeping this one stockish unless something breaks then I’ll upgrade..
Awe Yea SCX6!!!! I love mine. It is blast to trail with, but also crawl. I have taken mine in some crazy places!!!👍👍👍 If you were not aware but I would suggest gettting the V2 Spektrum esc programmer.
I have the Hobbywing version. Not sure if it works with this particular esc.
Can you program these esc stock?

Nice pick up Jason! I have seen these at the indoor crawler track by me. They are enormous for a crawler! I think you are going to enjoy it. Run it in parallel, lots of advantages 😉

Best mod you can do imo is tires. I loved the super swampers. Changed the whole truck
Those are the ones I want. I like the hyrax. But I prefer look of the super swampers
Awesome unboxing Jason. That's an awesome trail ride for sure. It adds a Fun flavor to hiking no doubt. Definitely love to see it in your fleet. I'm getting into crawling/trailing myself with my Son. Looking forward to seeing more of it soon

I think you will love it! The Honcho has become my new favorite! I added the Injora axles, shock mounts and wheels. I also have the swampers with method wheels but run the stock tires mostly on the rocks. The Injora 2 stage foams are def. worth the 26 bucks and work well! The NSDRC servo is a beast if you start to push that truck more that just trailing. I have a feeling you will find it's limits and make adjustments as needed. Have fun!
Just got myself one today for Christmas and got my son the trx4 sport kit for Christmas so we can go out trailing together😊

It can pull a group of children on a trolly, pulls a car only wen diffs are shimmed, ,im building a rockbouncer race course i use mind to pull alot of kg,s of rocks on my rc4wd bigdog trailer ,had to reinforce the leafsprings and the tire foams.
5000 battery lasts about 3 miles walking non stop ,if put in deep mud , gear shift clogs up.
Harder foams a child can sit on it ..
Put weight in it ! It can pull serious weight with shimmed diffs!!
My servo broke in 2days getting up a curb. 250 pound weak servo ,
Feefs deast 2000 had to get installed! I hate weak electrical parts.

Not waterproof- USE CONFORMAL COATING.. split the plastic box and take out the chip use the coating and you'll never have an issue
