      She could even be the most perfect person in the world it wouldn't matter.
      This is something that runs in my family so I know this behavior well. My grandmother does it to my mother and my mother does it to me. Not to the extreme seen in this video I guess but all the points match.
      To give you a clear example, one time a few years ago when I was 18 or 19, I was video chatting a friend who happened to be a girl. After the call my mom started making ridiculous accusations (obviously false) that she was mocking her. It left me very puzzled but also skeptical because she literally had no reason to say that (my mother didn't even know her and had no reason to hate her) and after that incident she tried to incentivize me to stop speaking to her and kept mentioning her as if she was my girlfriend. I did have a girlfriend eventually after all that but I didn't even bother telling anyone at home because I didn't have the patience to deal with their crap.
      Now last year, my mom got someone, didn't tell us and once my grandmother found out the usual drama happened. The bickering went on until grandma realized mom was no longer with that man. That's when I started noticing a pattern.
      This video helped me understand things better and it is something that can also happen to daughters. If I ever become a father, I definitely don't want to repeat the same mistakes.

    Hello Everyone. Since I am child from the 60's I have been dying to find out why our world is 100% different in 2021. After watching "Think Before You Sleep" for almost a week now. I now understand exactly why our world is 100% different. Or, Should I say Insane? I still don't know who the guy is that talks in the background but, In my personal opinion he does a super job breaking down every situation.

    • @zalamael
      @zalamael Před 2 lety +187

      The world being 100% different is the result of social programming. Social programming is pretty much the same thing we do to train children or dogs, where you reward good behaviour and punish bad behaviour. The reason the world is insane, is because social programming has been used to reward bad behaviour and punish good behaviour, as a means of damaging and weakening society. Our rulers are aiming to gradually erode our rights and freedoms, to make us less of a threat to them, and for that, they require a weak and submissive society. And this social programming is a means to that end.
      Calling out people who are liars, who are cowards, who are evil thugs etc, is generally punished in our society (as being mean and offensive), whereas weak virtue signalling is held up as actually virtuous behaviour. So people who are cowards, people who are weak, they chase the praise they gain for their weak behaviour, and they rage against being held accountable for their weak behaviour.
      When we talk about the Red Pill, it is a reference from The Matrix about facing reality for what it is, or choosing to believe in the delusion that we are told to believe in. More and more people are waking up, because it is getting ridiculously easy to see through the delusion, but there are people in the world (weak people), who are working twice as hard to believe in the delusion (making themselves look ridiculous and insane in the process).
      I am not a fan of the Red Pill being used, I would rather use the 1984 reference, of 2+2=4, or not. People who have courage will speak the truth, and they will say 2+2=4. People who are weak and spineless, they will say 2+2=5, or 3, or whatever they are told to say, because they fear the consequences (being branded a bigot etc). Such people could get slapped in the face with Caitlyn Jenner's penis, and they will insist it is a vagina, and despite it being absurd, they will do it anyway, because they fear the consequences of speaking the truth (social shaming).
      Our society is being weakened one generation at a time, and they are being made to believe absurdities, because they are too weak and spineless to be honest.

Father passed when I was 13 raised until around 18 with my mother, had friends in high school who showed me the light of manhood and was the first to move into his own place at 21. I was older than my clique though so I should've been out sooner I believe, but stayed out of my mom's house until mid 30s when my apartment flooded. 6 months back at mom's made me appreciate my peace quiet and Freedom and I've never returned except for brief visits. I say all that to say I know where you're coming from, but don't get discouraged. Keep living, and be around as many male friends as you can and glean from them. Also try and find a reliable mentor. "I KNOW I will be NOTHING but a grunt to society"
      Yeah, society doesn't care much about men outside what we can do for it. You're your own person, though, never forget that. Conform to society to the extent you have to, and otherwise live your life for yourself and those you care about. The only thing you owe society is taxes (infrastructure, education etc), and that'll depend on your income. Set yourself one or more goals, break them down to manageable milestones and start working towards them. If they seem too challenging, break them down even further. To keep your motivation up, keep track of your progress, and keep your expectations down. "Slow and steady wins the race" some say, but my experience is that it's usually more of a combination of stagnation and leaps forward; if you give up, you'll likely miss those leaps forward.
      Making society happy won't make you happy - making you happy will. Everything gets easier when you're happy, so make that your number one priority. Just make sure it's long term; short term happiness isn't necessarily worth it. You won't get anywhere without you putting some effort into it - if you want to get up there, you need to climb - so don't get demotivated if you're making slow progress despite working hard at it. It takes years, even decades, for all of us.
      Peace and prosperity.

      @Booya Mazi Well brother, "the person in the mirror is the only person responsible for you". That's been my mantra for a while. Dont remember where I read it, but it's one of the truest statements I've ever read. Simply because it puts YOU in control. Nobody has any stake to you or your body or the way you choose to live. MGTOW to me just resonated with what I was already feeling about life. I always used to think that I had to be the only one who thought like this, but when I found out there was a community of brothers going through the same thing. I was taken aback. I've been there with the cold steel and such. But I sat back and thought. I have people that look up to me. And you never really notice it until you stop, readjust, and think. If only for a brief second, "I know things are bad right now, or seem bad, but sunshine ALWAYS comes after rain. Think of your sunny days more than those clouds and you'll be ok. And I'll be here if you need me to stick my hands through them clouds and pull you into the sunlight, because clouds always seem to hang low, and sometimes you just need a boost to get above them. most people have some type of damage from their parents. The goal of parenting is to create the least amount of trauma as possible. My dad was a narcissistic workaholic, that had an unhealthy obsession with healthy lifestyle. Too bad he died of a heart attack at 57 anyhow. I’m drowning in student debt for school loans that I didn’t understand, and for an “education” I was forced into so that I could have health benefits for just a little while longer. Even though I was notoriously awful in an academic environment, my mom just knew that college would save me. I can guarantee that my story is relatable to 90% of my peer group. There comes a point where “my parents screwed me up” doesn’t excuse anything anymore. Like when you are an adult, and have some semblance of autonomy. It eventually becomes your conscious choice to be just like your parents, allow their shitty decisions shape the entirety of your life, or be your own human. I am a mom. You should respect your parents...when they’ve earned it just like with anyone else. Let’s not make generalizations about respecting parents just cause they birthed you. Some parents are Satan. That’s a silly statement.

    In Finland we have a term for this kind of people: ''Peräkammarin poika'' - ''Boy of the Backroom'' or ''Peräkammarin tyttö''- ''Girl of the Backroom''. My childhood town had a well known alcoholic who lived with his 90 year old mother when he was 60 something years old. It's a sad fate and this kind of people are usually looked down upon by society and it's a shame. These people need help, not judging.

      precisely. finland would be a place that would likely have a different attitude towards socially isolated communities, here in the west you live so close to everyone that everyone puts up walls. in sparsely populated areas that get extreme weather the social atmosphere tends to be a lot more helpful. like here in canada, the further out you get the more friendly people are towards one another. Places like Alaska, its illegal to drive by someone walking down the road without stopping and asking if they need help.

I imagine he watched it during difficult emotional periods and it has been linked with self soothing behaviors, like how infants suck their thumbs. it puts them at ease, its familiar, its a show thats swimming with feminine energy, which would be associated with nurturing, protection, matriarchal elements, remember these are all men who have been babied by their mothers...this happens to girls too but with girls its not as detrimental because all they have to do is open their legs, with men they're expected to manifest in the world.

Feminism helped destroy that (though it's not the only one, you have: bashing failure, overly criticising while not encouraging enough, blaming for Ape or Acism with an R, etc...). Boys are taught it's not ok to be masculine, girls are taught they should be more masculine. In both cases, they're like fish out of water. Society and social media has all of us wanting to "gatekeep" or add in our 2 cents, be a helicopter parent, or put in our critique. It's likely that these girls all have plenty of beta male orbiters (being moderate to decently attractive and most not being severely overweight). I think it's more the fact that these are fresh guys and they don't know they are beta males for sure yet. So they get a staus bump to these women, until they open their mouth anyway. They are both digging in the discount bin hoping to find a good deal with few blemishes even though it's probably the same as what they got back home.

It's been about a year and half and we are planning on moving in together. So, far my mom has given me advice on how to move out if "things don't work out." My boyfriend has been nothing but polite and patient with my mom and I love him for it.

    • @zalamael
      @zalamael Před 2 lety +14

      It is very probable that your mom feels threatened because you are leaving her for someone else. There is a level of co-dependence that exists in some women (usually damaged ones), where they are unable to accept their children moving on, because they depend on them for emotional support. This can commonly be seen with obese women who have children, they are subconsciously frightened of being 'abandoned' by their child (when they 'fly the nest'), so they fatten them up, to sabotage their future, to keep them tied to the mother. "No one will ever love you as much as I love you" etc, but what they really mean is that their kid is the only person who loves them, and they are terrified of losing that love to someone else.
      I used to have a girlfriend years ago, who had the same problem. She was so insecure, that she was terrified of losing me to another woman, so she tried to fatten me up. Whenever she cooked for me, I would ask for a moderate amount, and when she brought me the plate, the food was spilling over the side, it was a mountain. And whenever I was going to go to the gym, she would suddenly become very interested in sex. What she was doing, was attempting to sabotage my attempts to better myself, because in her mind, if I became a better man, I would leave her for a better woman.
      I learned a lot about abusive relationships from her, I eventually left her because I refused to tolerate her attempts to drag me down to her level. If she had wanted to keep me, she should have lifted herself up to my level instead of trying to drag me down to hers. That is a pattern of behaviour that is common in deeply insecure people (damaged abuse victims), and your only option is to do what they fear the most, by leaving them, or they will succeed in dragging you down to banish their fears and insecurities. It is extremely abusive and selfish behaviour on their part, so you shouldn't feel guilty about distancing yourself from them.

    This doesn't necessarily only happen with mom's who don't get something from their husbands or are lonely. My mom has a perfectly fine relationship with my dad and my dad is a great father, but my mom is just an extremely over protective and worried person by nature. Growing up, she was over sheltering me and my brother and severely restricted our social interactions, especially with girls. She told me I was too young to date all throughout my teen years. Then as soon as I was like 20 she completely flipped and started constantly harassing me about finding a girl and starting a family because she wants grandchildren. Now, I was able to overcome this because I have always been a very social person by nature and I'm in great shape with above average looks, so I had no issues dating. My brother on the other hand, had always been very shy growing up and has had very few relations with girls despite being 33 now. He still lives at home and my mom is on his ass on the daily about getting his shit together and starting a family. To me it's pretty obvious she is a big reason he became like this.

      exactly. ive been saying that for years since but most people just resort back to normie tier reasoning(which only further proved the point). once you read up on the social engineering done, history and female nature, it all makes sense. the only logical move to make is to not bother playing a rigged game. we know the government has too many hooks that allow it to infiltrate any environment that strays too far from the programming so the next move is to to let this gen crash and burn in hopes that the youngest generation breaks the cycle (kids born 2010-onwards). ive got beer and lotus roots; now where is that asteroid ??

    My wife admitted that when she was in HS, she did this to a guy who she described as very sweet, a good friend etc. he checked all the boxes but he wasn't good-looking or particularly confident. She admitted that she knew he liked her, but she always kept him at arms length because, though she wasn't interested in dating him, she liked the attention. She's disgusted by what she did to him, but admits that almost all women do these kinds of things at some point (particularly in their teens and early 20s, when they're learning to use their charms).

I'm going to assume that your wife only thinks this is common amongst all women because it happened a lot within her own friend group. Which is what you'd expect because people tend to pick their friends based off of similar personalities.

    Living with your parents untill you are 25 isn't bad, the culture that children should move out by the time they are like 18 or what ever is damaging to the economy and housing market.
    We need to build way too much housing, because people are moving out at younger age which causes higher rents for everyone. Also if you live longer with your parents, you have more time to work, and get yourself some savings, since you don't have to worry about living expenses. Living with your parents for a longer time is more beneficial than moving out as soon as you are 18.
    And on top of this, taking care of your elderly parents instead of putting them in an old folks home isn't simping. It's a respectable way of giving back to the people who raised you.

      That depends on your parents!! Joey should leave his parents home, others might be good staying in their parents homes for awhile and save money, but not him. If he made any money his mother would want to control that to. I don't know that I am just guessing based on the type. My mother did that to me. Constantly demand to have control over my finances and never had enough to move out on my own. If that is what someone's parents are doing to them THEY NEED TO LEAVE!?!

      I lived at home until 25 and saved enough to put 20% down on my own home. I ended up paying off the mortgage at 32. I never could have done that if I'd left years earlier. Society's attitude is that I should have had my own place to bring hookups to instead of securing my future.

    I know it all too well. Growing up with an overprotective mother and a father that often treated me poorly. We are the people that live life on hard mode. When we are 18 we are put into the world already emotionally and mentally damaged. We have to heal years of trauma and mistreatment.
    Many of us would resort to being simps or sugar daddies. Its hard to become a real man when you were brought up like that. To serve your mother and do everything for her. But we can overcome this. We deserve our manhood. We deserve to have kids and treat them better than our parents did. Let's end the cycle of poor parenting.

    My little brother in his mid 20's was deeply miserable and not doing well, I told him it's because he only associates himself with women and weak blokes, if he's upset rather than having a laugh they re enforce it by taking every little upset super seriously until he now believes every minor upset is the end of the world, in the end I took him to dad's (he wasn't keen because we can seem too mean) to have a few days being just men, after he was genuinely much happier and enjoyed himself for the first time in years, he stopped searching out people he saw as unthreatening (really wierd pathetic bunch) and realised being a man isn't toxic and is mentally healthy, we taught him its fine being a beta, nobody cares as they still have a purpose in society so don't fear alphas or your own masculinity, went to his wedding recently, his friends are all that absolute unicorn of attractive, friendly, genuinely good and charisma that just attracts others, he's now happy, outgoing and doesn't fear his own or others masculinity.
