- Whenever someone mentions quality chocolate, one of the first places I think about is Belgium. From Godiva to Leonidas, Belgian chocolate is gold standard. This time, I head over to Brussels and traverse some of Belgium's biggest chocolate brands to find out why Belgian chocolate is so good.

Being Belgian I still learned a lot. I always assumed pralines were French. Thank you.
I’ve always like Belgian chocolate better than Swiss chocolate. But French chocolate can also be very good.
Also the way you say chocolate stresses me out xD
I lived there in the early to late 90s as a tween to teen after moving from LA. It was a dramatic change in every aspect of my young life but I fell in love with Europe and cherish and hold the memories from there so close to my heart. I moved back to my home town, Japan in 1998 and have lived here ever since, but my little brother now lives there for business and I am so excited to visit❤ for sure I will be devouring those chocolates!
You have a very good guide with you, preparing a similar thing with a slight contrast is how you expand your sense of taste.
Please,.continue on making several videos about history of food. It is quite insightful to debunk facts about famous food we have eaten
Awesome video, your one of my food CZcamsrs, alongside Tasting History and OTR Food and History 😊
He needs to do a collab video with OTR! 😀
Mmmm, chocolac ;)
If I lived in Belgium it'd be fun to set a goal to try at least half of the chocolate catalogue (so long as they don't contain peanuts, bc peanuts ruin chocolate) of at least 10% of different Belgian chocolatiers in your lifetime. I've no intention of moving to Belgium but this sounds like a goal worthy of changing my life goals to try and achieve that...
Each of your videos is a nice break away from everyday places and food, and a nice surprise when I see one pop up in my notifications. Please keep them coming. I'm going to buy some chocolate now!
Such a fun video! Informative with a fun, upbeat tone. I really liked how you shot the chocolate as if you were shooting jewelry or high fashion. I like how you tied that quote into the whole feel of the video.
A Chinese American living in Japan, touring Europe and making videos of the each European countries that he visited, who does not need it , hell fuck yeah, keep It up Mathew, I just want you to cover Manga and Anime on food, as you are living in Japan
Oh give it up....
The fact that I bought *today* a box of belgian chocolates. I had to eat one (or two) while watching this.
I, too, enjoy eating high quality snickers bars.
I love Belgium chocolate
Didn’t know that!
Part two Swiss chocolate!
That sounds like a cool idea 💡
Yay! I'm 25th view! Love your content. Dark, rich Belgian confection (coca butter based) is my jam. 100% 🍫
One small perfect quality bite is better than handfuls of junk.
[How do you feel about "mole"? Let's do a segment at 750M subs 🤞❣]
It say a lot of your pallet that you say is like snickers ore… it mean you just American that have no pallet at all
Lets gooooooo
You changed your channel name 😭 but I found you and that’s all that matters. Why the name change? Enjoy watching your videos! 😀
Just for future proofing, I guess. It felt more comfortable using my name for the channel to give it more flexibility.
Germany chocolate is good
Yum Cha is better than chocolate.
As a Swiss I feel offended, obviously you have never tried real Swiss chocolate 😉
Someday, I’ll go to Switzerland!
Laderach all the way!
Now run, run away from the boys in blue
Oh, my car smells like chocolate
Hey now, I think about what to do
I think about what to say
I think about how to think
Pause it, play it, pause it, play it, pause it
🍿 corny 😅
i couldnt get past Choclick. sorry.
My Belgian friend hates recommending Belgian chocolate to visiters because he says there is nothing Belgian about their chocolate, just colonialism
