  • Whenever someone mentions quality chocolate, one of the first places I think about is Belgium. From Godiva to Leonidas, Belgian chocolate is gold standard. This time, I head over to Brussels and traverse some of Belgium's biggest chocolate brands to find out why Belgian chocolate is so good.

Being Belgian I still learned a lot. I always assumed pralines were French. Thank you.

I’ve always like Belgian chocolate better than Swiss chocolate. But French chocolate can also be very good.
Also the way you say chocolate stresses me out xD

I lived there in the early to late 90s as a tween to teen after moving from LA. It was a dramatic change in every aspect of my young life but I fell in love with Europe and cherish and hold the memories from there so close to my heart. I moved back to my home town, Japan in 1998 and have lived here ever since, but my little brother now lives there for business and I am so excited to visit❤ for sure I will be devouring those chocolates!

You have a very good guide with you, preparing a similar thing with a slight contrast is how you expand your sense of taste.

If I lived in Belgium it'd be fun to set a goal to try at least half of the chocolate catalogue (so long as they don't contain peanuts, bc peanuts ruin chocolate) of at least 10% of different Belgian chocolatiers in your lifetime. I've no intention of moving to Belgium but this sounds like a goal worthy of changing my life goals to try and achieve that...

Such a fun video! Informative with a fun, upbeat tone. I really liked how you shot the chocolate as if you were shooting jewelry or high fashion. I like how you tied that quote into the whole feel of the video.
