Quick little side note, one thing I've noticed about the roadmap is that regarding the LEGO star wars event, we never got speeder bikes or the star destroyers in game (as hinted by the roadmap image), so maybe after tomorrow (time of writing, may 13th) we get an update to LEGO Star Wars Fortnite, as they have said the the star wars content for the LEGO mode will stay after the main Star Wars event goes away.. Just something I observed and what I think it means
(Edit: Looking back at the image it shows a LEGO character looking at a Star destroyer in a DUNE/DESERT, One that doesn't look like the desert we have in game right now, and with the upcoming Sand Storm mini event happening I can only imagine the LEGO update will happen WITH/NEAR the Season 3 Update.)

@@ryanfares263 but we don't actually *see* (as in being able to walk up to it) like in the roadmap art, and again we don't see the type of desert that is also shown, as well as the speeder bikes, I get that the roadmap isn't going to be a 1 to 1 copy of what happens in game but so far it's been right about a lot of up and coming things, such as Billie eilish, I just an observation I noticed that no one else seems to be talking about.
It would be cool if the Sandstorm was THE storm in Fortnite for the last few days of the season. Similar to how the Storm was water after the Ch 2 Ssn 2 Live Event all those years ago.

Crazy theorizing but perhaps the wanderer is a version of the visitor, let me explain. In the characters name there is the, like THE scientist, THE foundation, and then the word wanderer is remotely similar to visitor, they both technically go around different places, and I think that it’s a corrupted version of the visitor and that we can expect more later on, and a bonus being the visitor was the first seven member in the game, and this will be the first corrupted on in the gam
My thought is those icons are not just skin teasers, but war banners. What if season 3 has 4 warring factions vying for control over the wastes. Asuming the boss system stays from this season, we could have to fight the controling clan of a poi before we fight the boss, so that we gain control of it, maybe represented by some npcs being friendly to the winning squad.
if we get a mad max collab they should had the coma doof warriors guitars from fury road as a lead for festival 😊😊

Next season would be perfect for mad max since it’s apocalypse and in a sandy area. The new movie will also come out around the new season. If we got new armored cars or add ons liek cow catchers that would be awesome or even customizable death cars
A thing to note is the chance of a mad max collab happening are high because the new mad max furiosa movie drops the same day the new season drops 👀

Extremely wishful thinking, but it would be so sick if "The Wanderer" is the lone wanderer from Fallout 3, seeing as many people were speculating a tie-in with the TV show or something to tie in with the apocalypse theme. The only thing that gives this a little weight is that Fallout 76 is also about to get a huge weather-themed update.
Maybe they are mixing in the aliens as kind of an Area 51 theme for part of the desert area.

I think the wanderer is from The Last Reality, the Oracle says chocking dust, which is obviously the sandstorm, but the dark sky’s? That could possibly be a Last Reality mothership or possibly the Cube Cradle blocking the sun.
That ‘Early screenshot’ is different from this season mostly because of the purple buildings so im gonna assume its for next season

Theory: we get a repeat or similar of the alien invasion from c2 and somehow they teleport us back to c2 in someway, and that's how we get back to c2 for ogc2?

my idea about the aliens is that they are going to help rebuild the world into regular time and that is the mini event for season 3
I think this season is going to be VERY important for fortnites community as recently lets just say the majority of changes werent really appreciated, if this season isnt good enough it could really kill a chunk of the communities enjoyment
I'm curious to see if Psycho Bandit gets re-released for next season and bring back the Dune skins!!

the wanderer was right under our noses you know who it is? it's bytes. think about it in chapter 3 season 4 when you did the quests to unlock his pickaxe edit styles, the nothing speaks to bytes about needing him at one point for something. the leaked wrap with the alien seems to be teasing the last reality. since they are bad guys, their return could hypothetically make sense if the season is apocalypse themed. also bytes has an edit style called wanderer. he's probably the next big villain, and he will bring the last reality to the chapter 5 island

My ideas: the wanderer is part of the last reality and when pandoras box explodes the last reality finds out where the ch5 map is, they come to the island and defeat the gods, after they take over the entire map and it becomes a kind of ch2 s7 and ch3 s2 fusion.
