You also can't fly below a certain altitude in built up areas. Nor can you fly over suburbs after a certain time (depending on the local government's restrictions). You can't block certain airways due to commercial air traffic. You can't land wherever you want. You need the proper facilities to maintain it on your property or wherever you're storing it (which would cost a lot of money). You'd also need regular maintenance checks to certify it's airworthiness, heavy taxation on it due to it being a privately owned air vehicle, pretty hefty insurance, and full training on how it works (I'd say at least 60 hours in a highly accurate simulation of it would be enough before an instructor can put you in the real thing to certify you which'd be say.. another 60 hours?). I think I see a few problems with the 'free parking' thing.
I love how the highway footage is sound effected with a spooling up Auxilliary Power Unit. The most impressive sound byte you can catch from an aircraft, and it has nothing to do with flying lol

This configuration of VTOL aircraft was physically tested by several different aircraft (Lockheed XFV Salmon, Convair XFY Pogo). They were largely failures, in part because of the difficulty in landing them.
VTOL. They're making a weird ass, poorly designed VTOL. (And also completely disregarding the fact that the sky isn't free fuck around land; There's something called Airspace) How does that airframe even approach? How is it supposed to land? You supposed to swoop down and hook it on your clothes line?
The US Airforce tried an aircraft exactly like this "Humming Bird" in the 1950s - Twice. Unsurprisingly, they didn't work remotely well, even in the hands of the most experienced pilots.
That footage of them driving is on Lamar Ave, in Memphis TN. You can even see the perkins exit. I could tell that just from the damn road and surroundings. That's BNSF distribution on the left at the end.
I have a question... How do you SEE!? The propellers are clearly right in front of the cockpit! Sure, that won't block your view completely but it'll make everything a heck of a lot harder!
Computers in the plane tend to also let you know where you are spatially. But most of the propellers on normal planes are: A) Not 3 inches away from the cockpit B) Not almost as big as the plane itself, yes they spin fast enough for you to see through but everything is still going to look distorted and blurry.
The "Dubbb Sandwhich" is an integral part to Crowd Fund Theory - the mechanics of a successful Crowd Fund campaign - in which the user, or "Fundee", should ask themselves the question of "What are the risks of making a sandwich?" before starting their campaign. Should the fundee be able to demonstrate they can successfully asses the risks of building a sandwich, then this shows a level of competence to help run a successful campaign.

Holy shit the tiny eyes part made me crack up xddd!!1!1!!!
I love how the highway footage is sound effected with a spooling up Auxilliary Power Unit. The most impressive sound byte you can catch from an aircraft, and it has nothing to do with flying lol
6:40 me rn thinking about NFTs
"take off like a helicopter, fly like an airplane!" you me the MV-22 Osprey? wow original
Funny Ian made the comment about owning a video online. This is where NFTs started
Lmfao the point were he gets to the weird PVC pipe and hes just like "what the fuck is that" over and over again cracks me up every time!!
Oh my greatest fuck, this guy is just too fucking good at what he does, i'm crying cos of the sentence cutting xD Also are these morons aware you can't just fly in the air. You needs permits and approved airspace and all sorts of shit. Jesus these ones that are run by "seemingly" smart people who don't do the BASIC research actually make me angry
2:31 That scared the shit outta me.
Do they know that the Osprey exists?
It doesn't work like this. The osprey, or vtol, is always vertical.
+DoomGhoul actualy no, It can also take off like a plane
The WastedPillow the rotors are to big
iDubbbz I haven't died laughing at a CZcams video in years and 2:20 on wards cracked me up, I know you don't read old comments but you really brightened my day.

This configuration of VTOL aircraft was physically tested by several different aircraft (Lockheed XFV Salmon, Convair XFY Pogo). They were largely failures, in part because of the difficulty in landing them.
Even if the hummingbird replaced cars. WHAT would we do with all the cars in the world.
+Zwro The children in Africa could eat them
+Patrick Riley Perfect
scrap them for metal
Crash them into eachother.
+Zwro That car juggling robot has a new career if these two get funded.
Also great for those rapid drug deals when fends need their fix FAST.
6:40 if only he would have known...
Haha one of the most underrated videos!
2:30 Died xD
IKR
“A tilt o whirl made out of giant pvc pipe and a springless trampoline” 😂 so distracting like so true.
IDubbz this video was funnyMake Greenlight Garbage
LMFAO the extra scene at the end killed me cause its usually continuing where it left off and its usually longer
VTOL. They're making a weird ass, poorly designed VTOL. (And also completely disregarding the fact that the sky isn't free fuck around land; There's something called Airspace) How does that airframe even approach? How is it supposed to land? You supposed to swoop down and hook it on your clothes line?
They already made something like this. The Osprey, the Harrier, etc. Vertical landing aircraft have been around for a while.
a same vehicle already exist...
What it is called?
FUCKING OSPREY
Why do they need to creat a kickstarter project for something that already exist?
They already have a VTO Jet, and said osprey. this is shit.
2:11 best moment in kick starter crap history
hahahaha hello my name is jeff
The US Airforce tried an aircraft exactly like this "Humming Bird" in the 1950s - Twice. Unsurprisingly, they didn't work remotely well, even in the hands of the most experienced pilots.
iDubbbz channel is about to blow the fuck up from that maxmoefoe comment.
he has commented on multiple videos and it doesnt really do much as far as i am aware
i like your pic
Its not the first.
He's done it on basically all of Idubbz's kickstarter craps.
Jason Maki I have never noticed any other comments from him.
2:31 reminds me of the hand eye dude from pans labyrinth
as a hummingbird pilot, this video didnt age well.
Oh internet, you never fail to kill me!
Both with humor and sadness that these projects exist.
Seems like hummingbird just flipped the bird on you IDubbz!
I should go.....
on!
That footage of them driving is on Lamar Ave, in Memphis TN. You can even see the perkins exit. I could tell that just from the damn road and surroundings. That's BNSF distribution on the left at the end.
And Lamar Ave is a highway, not a freeway actually. Idubbbztv #exposed
edups I am here to say thaet thre is no google.com/goddamnclipart. I dun't kare if it wazs a joke. you were wrong.
+Davin Liming Gosh, talking ungrammatically physically hurt me. Like, actually hurt me. I felt legitimate pain.
+Davin Liming It physically hurt me to see you reply back to make sure everyone knows you're not awful at spelling.
Cameron Petet I know. It's kind of a horrible flaw of mine, my apologies.
"What in all shits is that shit" rofl I'm definitely gonna steal this line

Oh god i love memes!
I have a question... How do you SEE!? The propellers are clearly right in front of the cockpit! Sure, that won't block your view completely but it'll make everything a heck of a lot harder!
normal planes have the propeller in front of the cockpit and they have no issues. They spin so fast that you can see through it.
Computers in the plane tend to also let you know where you are spatially. But most of the propellers on normal planes are:
A) Not 3 inches away from the cockpit
B) Not almost as big as the plane itself, yes they spin fast enough for you to see through but everything is still going to look distorted and blurry.
NFT?
The "Dubbb Sandwhich" is an integral part to Crowd Fund Theory - the mechanics of a successful Crowd Fund campaign - in which the user, or "Fundee", should ask themselves the question of "What are the risks of making a sandwich?" before starting their campaign. Should the fundee be able to demonstrate they can successfully asses the risks of building a sandwich, then this shows a level of competence to help run a successful campaign.
he sounds like the gay guy in south park
k
+The Key He means that iDubbbz sounds like Mr Garrison.
The Key i forgot his name thats why I didn't say it
Come on man, you could've used google...
