Great job WaveTalkers team! I would not be surprised to see a case study made of this incident; the professionalism from the first unit on scene down to the county dispatcher was impressive.

And hats off to the Emergency Services Dispatchers who kept track of the resources for the IC. And to those who formulated the run cards for an event such as this. When I hear the list of units/agencies being called on the air, you know something big happened. Kudos for the first unit taking the Incident Commander position in the early stages of the situation.

Excellent analysis of the initial response to this event. This was from a single point of view There were multiple agencies involved, but this helps us understand the magnitude of the response.

    Great Information. My take-away:
    - Use well paced, concise, clear, plain language with accurate and complete information with as much of the who, what, when, where, why you can provide that can be heard and copied on the first transmission.
    - Say it twice, because the people on the other end may not be in a stable quite environment.
