I used to wake up with my lips so chapped that they'd bleed if I smiled. I also may use it once or twice during the day if I don't feel like aplying lip balm 1 million times bc this stays on my lips for way longer besides hidratating them more. I use Mongo Kiss lip balm and top it with Aquaphor ointment, and it works amazing. No matter what, though, you will probably want to use something moisturizing under the Vaseline, as it actually doesn’t moisturize your lips; it just prevents moisture loss.

What I used to do when my hands in general were cracked and dry, get a tin of bag balm and some rubber gloves. Apply the bag balm to your hands before you go to bed and wear gloves. I even used to do this while working. D
