Fantastic movie with a fabulous direction .Hats off to Mr. Jude Antony who made this craft a beautiful one. Really a Must watch movie. It's an awesome theatrical experience.💯 The crew has recreated the incidents really well and in a realistic manner. Great effort by the team to make such a movie which matches the Hollywood level, considering that the Malayalam movie industry have a limited budget. All the actors have done a tremendous job..Tovino,Lal,Asif,Kunchakko,Narein..😍 Each and everyone in the cast has done their roles wonderfully! Specially tovino just remain in the heart. ♥️ The story makes really a great sensible impact in our mind and in the same meanwhile it's breath taking moments too see in middle of the scenes...sound was amazing After so many years , have watched a fantastic movie. Emotions and goosebumps..🥺 .Thanks for giving us such a great movie and for reminding us all those hardships Kerala had gone through ..and also how they overcame it..This movie is going to be on top of Malayalam movie history.. Yes we've had our share of out-and-out commercial masala movies, and brainless comedies, but to say that Malayalam movies have been story-driven in the "recent years" 😕 maybe you're someone who hasn't watched the older movies? From the pre-Kumbalangi phenomenon?

To add to Tovino's final point, I have said it before as well. Malayalam actors will never in their life get paid like Bollywood stars because of the ticket rates in Kerala theatres, the overall cost of living index in Kerala, overall salary ratio of Kerala people is lesser than North Indian cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi etc.

Dharam, Kerala is a semi-urban continuum, whereas Mumbai is a landscape of slums interspersed with enclaves of high rise buildings, and garbage and chaos all around.
You must travel all over Kerala to realize how it differs, how it is almost first world.

@@mr.kochappan2418 I am myself born in Trivandrum. I have not posted any comment to demean Kerala. My point here is Kerala actors cannot be paid the way how Bollywood actors or Tamil or Telugu actors are paid. They cannot expect as well. Below are the reasons:
1. You have less concept of a Multiplex in Kerala except for cities like Kochi or Trivandrum. From the beginning Kerala has been running on single screens or dual screens in same theatre. Examples are Ajantha, Shree Padmanabha, New Theatre (All in Trivandrum as I have been to almost all the single screens in Trivandrum).
2. Average ticket price in Kerala in single screens is close to 100 at max (for balcony). This becomes difficult for any producer to recover the money as 30-40% is taken by theatre owners.
3. Kerala is definitely one of the richest states, I totally agree but when it comes to large scale movies or any producer or actor backing it; you might find very less movies earning to that level. Even top actors like Mohanlal and Mammooty charge close to 5-6 Crs which females charge in Tamil or Hindi industry. Do you think the acting talent of Mohanlal, Mammooty deserve only this much? And actors like Karthik Aryan and other new bees of Bollywood getting paid 15-20 Cr? We all know we cannot even compare or make Karthik Aryan stand next to them. So where is the gap?
4. Lets take another example of big budget movie like Kaduva or Kaapa or Christopher or Aaraatu; take any example. The movies which are made on bit budget; it becomes hell lot of difficult for a Malayalam producer to recover the money unless they dont sell it on OTT. Last year out of all the movies except for Romancham none of the movies collected much money. (Statement by Keerthy Suresh's father).
Lastly, why do you think theatres are getting converted to Kalyana Mandapam? Because theatre owners are not able to survive. Unless and until multiplexes do not come full fledgedly in Kerala; it is difficult for actors or movies to earn the same level how non Malayalam language movies earn.
Again, I would say being a Malayali myself I would not demean the state or any state for that matter but this is a sour truth.

@@dharamiyer29 Malayalam film industry is a small industry with limited theatre outlets and catering to a small population. So the economic scope is limited. That is the reason why the renumeration for the artists including the actors is low. To add, Malayalam films are made for Malayalees, and if they get any outside reach that is a bonus. Malayalam film makers are not making ‘pan-Indian’ films (read crass commercial potboilers with no art); nor do they seem interested in such ventures.
