It’s ridiculous that they nerfed that part of his kit.
Why? It provided great support for the team and was not wiping out the entire map (like other frames).
It was a little something special about him that suited him lore wise.
No idea why they let stuff like Saryn and Xaku exist but not a little bit of high tier crowd control. It’s not helping the issue that crowd control is becoming less and less useful.

I just put thermal sunder on rhino yesterday and made more or less that exact build, surprised to see someone else using it and happy to see someone realize how broken the combo is with archon vitality lol

gotta say i didnt think of a thermal sunder rhino this is amazing
If you struggle with liches. You can run into the lich and cast iron skin when he graps you, you get like 400k shield with no mods. The timing is a bit tricky but if you manage to do it the rest of the fight is easy
That's it! This is the only Warframe channel that I will trust.
So I did play the nourish version of this build. It's really good. I did notice one thing. You use the stomp as utility and it's just a added bonus that it replenishes iron skin, as the oh crap button is rolling guard into recasting iron skin. The casting speed is almost mandatory tho there are instances where stomp animation locks you and it'll knock off your iron skin before the stomp replenishes
I agree, casting speed for me on many warframes has become mandatory, animation locks usually kill me if anything does
Gotta question. Are cunnig drift and arcane velocity really the best option? Cunnig drift feels kinda weird and arcane precision looks better (for me at least). But ofc, great vid - very helpful - thanx :)

When i have iron skin on and use nourish the enemy doesn't take viral damage when they attack me . But when i dont have iron skin on the viral damage affects them. Is that hows its supposed to work?

I'm covering him next week, he should be very easy to take to lvl cap though, he has a ton of immunity frames, just want him to be out for a bit, I wanna especially see how bad his nerfs are going to be, because he is very strong
You forgot the flat 25% crit chance on all enemies affected by piercing roar (due to max puncture proc stacks) which enables some niche setups where a weapon that either has no innate puncture, bad crit chance or both can profit a lot from this ability 😉 and since Rhino is a formidable candidate for arcane avenger this just makes him crit with bad cc weapons even more while having the best roar on top of it! The reduction of incoming damage could perhaps make his iron skin viable at very high levels more easily since the amounts of iron skin needed can be lowered making him more flexible overall. And the last obvious benefit is the ability to recast roar, even though it's quite expensive to cast, it can be used in a pinch to shield gate and some mild repeatable CC.
Edit: having watched the whole video now, i'd like to add just how awesome of a subsume energized munitions is for rhino. Getting the full roar bonus while being able to use that helminth ability turns many weapons into absolute killing machines that normally can't be put to good use that easily - or at least not to mass destruction. Pair that with the extreme CC stomp provides and nothing lives. It further emphasises on Rhino being the go-to weapons platform warframe that now doesn't have to care all that much about ammo issues anymore.

I don’t think there’s any other frame that can be taken to level cap with no mods equipped as comfortably as Rhino can.

Me clicking on this as my rhino is crafting in my foundry🥳 I have no slots to claim him yet though. Because I spent my starting plat on a mag skin that was on sale, this is one on console so instead of the plat price being cheaper to buy it was when the discount is applied to a market item. So I picked up mag pheumna skin, which is beautiful but then I was like damn slots. Then I hatched my kubrow and was like hey this other 27 can buy me 2 companion slots which both come with 2, because I was like yeah more dogs 🐕.
Almost have Excalibur to 30 though and definitely don’t plan on keeping him because I just don’t enjoy his abilities much. So is feeding to the helminth worth it or should I just sell him?
If you dont have his ability in the helminth yet, then forsure feed it to helminth, yea the pheumna skin is awesome! you will get more warframe slots as you level up mastery rank aswell, so eventually you'll be 100% :)

They changed rhino stomp in latest patch so you cant stun overguarded enemies anymore. Just a quick FYI

i have no idea why people hate on rhino first..... its legit the same as gauss, but people were ignoring it, once gauss came out people werent crying about gausees reskin on the 1st ability, its a nice movemebt ability for rhino
Gauss's 1st ability does not lock you in to an animation though, it also builds his passive and can be held down to move to exactly where you want, the only way they are the same is the fact that they make your warframe move forward, I think rhino's 1 has a place for iron skin but other than that its very lackluster, but that just my opinion, use it if you want to, as long as you enjoy it, thats all that matters ;)
@morning8590 no, the problem is, a lot of people just didn't know how to use it, or even, had knowledge on how to use it even come close to acceptable.
One of the most under explored abilities in the game. It has some of the most special properties in the game that only this ability possesses.
Ah yes, thermal sunder Rhino. Guess the fire finally spread, the insanity called thermal sunder Rhino.
The reason it hits like a truck is not because just roar. Roar triple dips with thermal. First on the direct hit, second on the 2x multiplier, making it (2x + roar%), and third, the heat dot.
Primers had odd synergy with thermal, it doubles your nuke's ramping speed, making it become (2 + roar) x (2 + roar).
The 10x heat dmg cap simply cannot stop Rhino from outright nuking your home clean. Primer + Roar immediately caps the 10x with enough strength.
If what you witness right now is insane, lemme tell you one very honest truth...this is just 10% of pre-nerf thermal sunder Rhino's power.
