This is the weirdest ending ever to me bro. You spend 4 seasons building up one relationship, having them die and come back for each other repeatedly, only for it to end with one of them not being able to feel anything and cursed to be Charon for the rest of eternity, essentially, and the other just moving on. I mean, having them separate for a time for character development or something is cool, but ending the entire show off with them basically not together (or fucked even if they are), is super counter productive.
I feel like this is their path from the beginning. Hope had to learn to grieve and move on. Something she wasn't able to in the past after her mom's and dad's death. Landon is supposed to be her lover but not endgame. He is more than dead, he found himself as Charon in Limbo. It's his home. Hope WILL live, that is the moral of her story. Not let pain and grief control her life and herself.
I think she was just finally accepting the change and the death of her family and boyfriend who she loved bc her emotions were off before this so she don’t have time to accept it

In fact, their love was really epic. But in some parts it was so suffocating that they were so toxic and I was really going to hate it. But towards the end it tied really well and the last episode was completely amazing. When I watch this episode, when I watch this scene, I realize that their love is definitely for each other. But I don't know, maybe just because of this season or this episode :) [It could also be because Landon has an overly good type in this scene :D You already know Hope, she's always perfect ( ◜‿◝ )♡] I would also like to add that Hope and Clark look good with each other, they could be together too. Clark confuses me a lot. He should definitely had a good ending with Hope. To me, Hope and Clark have great chemistry.This chemistry should not have been wasted.What I said to Hope and Landon means a lot emotionally. But Clark and Hope are so alike, they can understand and listen to each other.
