This video randomly popped into my head again after seeing dude perfect mentioned in a article. One of my favorite videos, I've come back and watched it at least 3 or 4 more times over the last 5 years. Can't believe this thing is that old! The quality, editing and overall video were so far ahead of there time!

Well actually, water slows bullets down by a massive margin, an AK-47 bullet can only travel about 5 feet in water before stopping completely. It's unlikely the 9 shot they used would go more than a couple of feet without stopping and most fish don't hang out in the middle of a lake at the surface so I'd say the fishes are fine.

It depends. Sometimes it takes them one time, sometimes it takes hours. They are definitely patient!
With shotguns you don't need good aim, shoot within 3 feet and you nailed it.

They teach us in hunter safety not to shoot at water because the pellets bounce off and can hurt you. The fish were probably fine.
