Facts bro this was my first Pokemon game for the DS. Me(Soul silver) and my sister(heartgold) got them on Christmas Day back in 2012. They just donât make Pokemon remakes any worthwhile anymore ever since black and white 2 released. Every other game and remakes of ruby and sapphire and diamond and pearl were not good and the sales of the games could prove it.
HGSS didnt break 13 million sales, ORAS sold over 14 million, BDSP sold over 14 million, LGPE sold over 15 million. If you go by sales, all the remakes AFTER HGSS were better.

Same here. I now play every mainline pokemon game that has come out since Soul Silver (in addition to Platinum). The memories will always be there and so will the nostalgia surrounding these games
I love how in these games Viridian Forest has a happy almost nostalgic feeling as if itâs saying âyouâre almost done with your journey, well done trainerâ whereas originally it had this mysterious eerie tone signifying the beginning of your journey and the unknowns ahead.
Having a favourite childhood game is a blessing, making us able to feel strong nostalgia and remember happy memories just by listening to music.

My favourite has to be the national park theme ! It is soo relaxing perfectly fits the vibe of strolling with my pokemon

These were the best remakes, as person who played the og gen 2 on a green gameboy color, these remakes did them justice. in terms of music and extra content. Its why gen 2 and 4 are my two favorites

Even though there is not much to do in Cherrygrove City, the theme slaps like no other
