Timbre - Overtones and Pedal Tones on Trumpet and Flugelhorn

This is a ten minute discussion intended both for my Online Lessons page and the Science Olympiad page. It deals with overtones/timbre as applied to brass winds. However the simple theory underpinning it applies to all instruments. I only allude to Fourier Synthesis. A link will appear on the Science Olympiad page for further study.
