    You have some good insights here about the AWD/drivetain and about the infotainment screen... I have been looking at this vehicle to possibly purchase for some time, and these specific insights are not ones mentioned by other reviewers, so much appreciated and helpful.

    Hey, it will be nice if you can also update about, what is the real world extended electric drive range in normal driving?

      It was pretty cold when I reviewed it and I have a heated garage so the batteries will be in a bit of a better temperature. I would say about 50 plus/minus 10 km

    Before the change to Android automotive, in the sensus system first you activate ACC and then with the left right buttons you can switch between ACC and pilot assist. How it is now in new android system, can you still switch on the steering wheel?

      If I remember correctly you can still do it like you described

    Your comment at 4:20, believe when you spec. the ultimate pack with all options, which comes with 4 zones climate control. The rear heated seat bottons are placed in the central console. I wouldn't say as per your comment that you have a cheap Volvo.

      Thank you for watching and commenting. The Volvos starting price is much higher. From what I got, about 150 k sek inital difference. The Volvo on paper should go further. I havent driven the Mazda unfortunately, but it seems to have a lot going for it if you look at the specs vs price

    Thank you for the video! One question. Does the new google system have a 'Driver performance' app. On the old Sensus system you could pull up a screen that showed detailed fuel consumption on the infotainment screen. Does the new system still have this? Thanks in advance!

      Good question! In the Volvo C40 you can download an app to get a rather simplified information about your range and consumption. I am not completely sure, but I would guess it would be the same here

    Do you need to install a wall charger or can you survive with default home socket type charge?

    • @HonestCarReviews
      @HonestCarReviews Před 2 lety +1

      From Volvo´s homepage you can get some info about times for different types of chargers.
      www.volvocars.com/se/v/cars/recharge/charging-your-volvo
      In summary, about 10 h or less for home socket, 3-4 h for wall box to charge to 100 %

      It depends on where you live, 220-240V or 110V country. In case of Europe or so called 220V Schuko plug will do the job over night. As car can accept max 3,6kWh there is no need to have wallbox as it shall not benefit. Only thing to remember that the wall socket must be able to withstand 10, 16 or 20 amps, in order to avoid overheating. I have facelifted (outside and infotaiment but not the drive train) xc60 plugin. The standard home outlet is sufficient.
