I think it’s safe to say the black and white minstrels are no longer appearing.
Just noted the show started on 14th October, 1972 - exactly 43 years ago to the day!
Oh my lord Thankyou so much for posting this!! My uncle was the guitarist on Pebble Mill at One, will be thrilled to see this!

Great video, once again thank you very much for posting - such a good show and a real shame the BBC have not kept the original recordings.
They've kept some of them. A lot of them were skipped when Pebble Mill was torn down!

This was made in 1982. The Black and White Minstrel Show was axed in 1978.
But they were still performing theatre shows up to 1984.
can anyone tell me what date in 1982 this was ?,thanks....i was there for the jet landing/take off and cant rember when....

You would not be able to get away with that these days the Black & White mistral without offending certain people. How sad the world has become.
Is it just me or was this morning basically just a rip off of this show. Right down to the brummies milling round behind the window😂
