Thanks to David @ Cruising The Cut for the route map
For those who didn't follow our journey on social media, there may be spoilers in the comments. You may wish to finish the series before commenting or reading any further. I hope you enjoy the videos
Lorna, you’ve done so well. I’m Thoroughly impressed. A huge pat on the back, girl! I’m so enjoying this series of videos of this monumental journey. 👏👏
you are awesome blossom, incredible, tough, amazing and determined. All that and a bag cookies. You rock.
Thanks for filming your walk. I've enjoyed watching you and Jo and Scotland. Its really beautiful. *****
Much respect Lorna. Way to go.
I'm full of admiration for the way you've stuck at it, Lorna, through thick and thin. I would have been really tempted to give up. But you kept going and brought us some of the most beautiful scenery. Many years ago i drove along the A82 through Glen Coe and remember just how overpowering the mountains around the road were. Looking forward to the next episode.
Good job Lorna, I'm pulling for you
Your #nevergiveup approach is what we all need is when taking on a project or challenge.
Well Done!
Wow! This really has everything an epic tale is made from. My hat is off to you two for undertaking this trek!
Well done Lorna …You are a strong resilient woman. Thanks to you and Jo for your insights on your journey together. My daughter and I are planning, researching kit list for next year WHW adventure. All the best Gerry 👍
Your so brave girl.. I am so proud to have met you both via narrowboating!..tough ladies both....what a beautiful place !!😍😊. Can't wait to see the final go tomorrow...WOW!😃
Lorna your camera work is phenomenally excellent..Commentary, and descriptions really helped pinpoint historical and other views, for a foreigner as myself.
Love that you acquired bread from an old man at the end of the day like you completed a side quest in a video game
I've seen and larger smiles from you in the last 5 days than I have in the last 5 years, it's nice to see you genuinely happy and showing it.
The Devils Staircase is either stunning or depressing. You showed us the stunning Lorna. Thankyou.
Loved watching your adventures Well Done the both of you Never Say Never
Excellent, good work m8, you've done well. thanks, you and yours stay safe and well.
Those views!! So glad you were able to continue on (but bummer on the tummy troubles).
Congratulations well done
Have not mentioned it yet to Jo, but the contrast of two different perspectives on this glorious content, is truly an exquisite part of the content. I love it.
Your next challenge should be 'The World Gurning Championships' .... Well done you two :-)
Happy for you making it, despite exhaustion and physical problems. You do have a knack for framing those beautiful landscapes in fine footage... something to further develop perhaps?
Well done on your perseverance!! So impressed.
Lorna! I love as I have said when there was boats in the area your two different ways of telling the story, you tell details from the history of Scotland and Jo talks about how you walk.
Amazing episode, congrats for breaking through! And what fantastic scenery, unbelievably beautiful
Wow, you should feel so proud of yourself today. You have proved to yourself, not that you need to, that you can surmount any obstacle. I thought Day 2 when you got so sick it was from over exertion but the way you’ve been crook the last couple of days it’s more like a bug. In particular, if the symptoms continue back in London, get checked out for giardia, as our daughter caught it we think from water at a roadhouse while we were crossing the Nullarbor and it took us all 6 weeks of it coming and going to realise it was more than a mild bug that would go away by itself. ❤️
The tap water in Scotland doesn’t agree with me. Unfortunately I forget this every time I go to Scotland 🙈
So pleased that you managed to get your enthusiasm back after ascending the Devil’s Staircase even though you were hit by a last minute stomach upset to finish your day 🤢
I'm sorry to hear that this wasn't one of those times when the sufferer felt better after the cookie toss.
Waking up before dawn to walk for twelve hours 💀 you are my herooooo absolute baller hobbit behavior
"The imp's incline" 😂
I hope you don't mind me saying but you looked absolutely knackered in this and the previous episode, however your grit and determination would probably get you through the para 30 miler. Keep working on your fitness once you're back in civvy street.
good vid keep up the good vids
If you have an interest in history, you should read Patrick MacGill’s, Children of the Dead End. MacGill worked on the construction of the dam and the book is autobiographical.
Again well done. I recognise many of the views
I really do hope Lorna that you manage to introduce 'skitters' into the English vernacular, it would be so much easier for mums to put that on a sick note rather than having to spell diarheia....durheara....diarrhoea! I'm even more impressed by the way you stuck at it, and won through today.
It’s the first thing you learn at work from taking all the sickness calls. “You sure it’s diarrhoea and not something easier to spell?”
👍👍👍😀❤️
👊👍
Rejuvenation, from the ides of the Devils Stairway, isn't the devil a curious kind of angle.
Wow your zooming... need to know the name of that ankle wrap??? Cheers Lorna... power of a true soldier.
It was just zinc oxide tape
The devil’s staircase was the easiest climb of the route? Well, maybe you have a little devil in you.
Will you be getting on the bathroom scales when you reach Fort William.🙂
By. Christ yon lassie diz some whinging
You wanna see me in a bad mood pal
